When I was an au pair living in London, I had trouble getting the little boy to sleep and I was very homesick at the time as well. Out of nowhere I startet singing this song and he fell asleep.... Now everytime I hear this song it makes me cry happy tears because I miss London so much but I'm also so proud that I made it and that somehow 9 months weren't enough :(

This song was played at my grandads funeral. I was only 2 at the time so I wasn't there, but any time my mum has ever heard this song since (it's been 20 years) she has always cried, so the song has always had a deep meaning to me. Hearing your version of it Carrie, has sent shivers down my spine, goosebumps all over my arms and my hair standing on end. The song is beautiful, your version of it is beautiful, and you are beautiful. I love you.
My dad who died when I was 13 used to sing this to me all the time! I usually avoid listening to it as it always makes me tear up a bit. Your cover was really beautiful though so no regrets! (Sorry if this is an overshare I think it might be lol)

When I was really young, my grandmother was suffering from stage 4 cancer. In her last week, my aunt made everyone a CD with all my grandmother's favorite Doris Day songs, and this was her all time favorite. We all wrote out the lyrics on sheets of paper and sang it to her in her bedroom the last day of her life.. This song radiates memories of my grandma, and you brought tears to my eyes. A lot has changed in my life in the time that I've been watching your videos, such as falling in love with someone and dealing with heartbreak, and also falling in love with singing and then falling out of love, because of how busy life can be. I know you won't see this, but thank you. Thank you for helping me fall back in love with music, and thank you for teaching me how to love myself. Lastly, thank you for saying that sometimes it's okay to be sad. It's helped so much.
When I was a little girl my father and I watched the Doris Day show. They opening song was Que sera sera. I remember him singing it to me. Thank you for picking this song and bringing back such beautiful memories to me!

This was beautiful. When I was a kid I used to go to nursing homes and sing for them with a group of friends and this was one of the songs we would sing. It brought back so many happy memories. :)
