Met Cal at the Mahaffey Theater in Tampa I believe back in '99. He was promoting his album art and a Zappa tribute band "Bogus Pomp" was playing that night along with the Florida Orchestra. Cal is really a nice guy.
The original Crush All Boxes was shelved after Zappa played it on the radio and it got bootlegged. The songs were remixed and later released on Tinsel Town Rebellion & You Are What You Is. The cover was re-used for Tinsel Town Rebellion. The original tracklisting was: 1. Doreen 2. Fine Girl 3. Easy Meat 4. Goblin Girl 5. Society Pages 6. Beautiful Guy 7. Beauty Knows No Pain 8. Charlie's Enormous Mouth 9. Any Downers? 10. Conehead
Great record and art. I own the original on vinyl and I bought the mp3 from itunes. Zappa 4-life!
Thanks for your art. It's amazing

Who the f*@% is Frank Zappa? The most important musician of the 20th C, that's who.
For me his artwork was a great visual representation of Frank's music.
