Basically the centre section is what the lift is built around and supported. The floor and roof have diagonal cross beams that extend out from the centre 'chassis' and provide load bearing support. It could be argued that this is a cheap way of constructing a lift, but you just don't need a huge steel chassis that weighs double what this weighs for an ecodisc motor. Heavier car also means a heavier counterweight which then starts taking the eco part out of what this lift is.

Nice I like the Ecodisc motor too. It is a lot different to a lot of other MRL Motors.
