The craziest thing about this scene is they just let here walk in with a very dangerous item in her hand's ( probably because they thought it was just a ceremonial wand) she is holding Ginnungagap, one of the world items the guild has, it cant be use to harm people directly but it's the strongest world item when it comes to destroying large areas, if she had used it right then and there, the whole city would be gone O_o
@@jasperbeek probably, although it would take her a while, albedo is mainly set up as a tank, lots of deflects and ability's that allow her to not take hp dmg but move the dmg onto her armours durability, the black armour she wears is not actually that special stat wise, it just has a shit tone of armour layers and durably points so she can maximise her defensive skills. She even has a skill that allows her to tank ANY hit no matter how hard and not take any dmg but it has a long cool down ( this is why Ains told her to "use her skill to protect him" when he fought that angel summoned from the crystal, because he was unsure of it's abilities so letting her use her tank anything skill would be the safest bet )

The MC cannot be defeated, anyone against him gets one shotted. battles are pointless. diplomacy is pointless. it starts out like sword art online, but with no plot or clear point to it. the boss is either ruthless and overpowered OR a virgin child too scared to make a move on his own personal harem. no point to any of it.

If you like me to demonstrate, I shall give you quotes with page and volume numbers so you can verify that over the course of several books, it's tropiness keeps getting increasingly predictable and annoying. Whatever the ending of the series is, it will be unearned. Even the author of the LN himself has given up on it and just wants to end the series, so it's not just me who thinks that's going nowhere. If you wish to verify the legitimacy of Momonga's agency and the causality of the narrative, do a thought experiment. What would happen if Momonga hadn't created the heroic alter ego? How would it have changed the story in a meaningful way? Or, what would have happened if instead of deciding to find others like him, Momonga had decided to live an OP life in this world? Would anything have changed? And if you aren't convinced that OL is just gratuitous power fantasy, look how much people enjoy the anime. The anime has skipped entire books from the LN. There aren't a lot of truly good guys in Overlord, most of them are more nuanced and corrupted, but there isn't a lot of truly evil guys in overload either, most of them are more nuanced too. Tho, Nazarick and its demons are truly evil.

They are not on a server. In this anime this is a real world. Sometimes people from the game got transported to this world. I think the lore is it has something to do with the so called wild magic, that existed even before the magic system from the game was implemented into this new real world.

I don't think so, the change is from being a "b1tch" to "madly in love with Momonga", so she will probably just be Demiurge 2.0 (in a sense of intelligence) but love to sleep around.
Lelouch has zero humility. His hubris is reigned in by his knowledge of reality. Momonga knows he's just a salary man, but his complete OPness actually requires him to play the game with some air of grandiosity. When he tries to be down to earth, things go sideways. Lelouch goes daring and pulls it off through 4D chess, while Ainz plays it extremely cautiously and lucks into winning at 4D chess.
1. It's a comedy anime/ln. 2. Everything the previous comment said. 3. One of the main points of comedy is that Ainz thinks much lower of himself than is actually the case. He is constantly prepared for the worst, going over every possibility. Only for most of that planning to be useless because of how powerful he is. 4. Lelouch is an underdog. Ainz is the opposite. That's why Overlord's ln focuses on the stories of those who encounter Ainz and have to deal with him, rather than Ainz himself, a lot of the time.
Lelouch and einz are very different from each other. One is an accidental overlord who will not hurt anyone if he had a choice while the other will kill half the world so he could move his plans.
How? Lelouch legit just wanted revenge on his father and to prevent tragedies like his own from ever happening agian. Ainz is an average dude who was put in the body of practically a god and given absolutely loyal minions who would slaughter the world if he asked them to
Well, the initial premise is misleading, if I described it, the anime would sound like a normal isekai- so think of it more like kingdom-craft. It’s definitely a 10/10, it had good comedic timing, the world building is great, and the characters are well-built. They’re not the good guys though.
I've only ever watched Overlord in Japanese. The English dub hits really differently. Japanese Albeto: High pitched desperate to please crazy girl. Albeto in English: Serious and Sinister.
What happened was actually not what they even planned but it worked out great for them. Aienz sent relief and food and medical supplies to go help people who had just gone threw a devastation and well Aienz sent literal humanitarian aid to civilians and the aid was attacked and stollen by the kingdom even though it had gone threw the proper channels. Israel keeps doing the exact same actions as that kind did. Aienz sent a message that if a people will kill relief aid workers and harm humanitarian relief then they are not meant to exist in this world nor any other for they have declared war on humanity and the world itself.
Fun fact: The king was actually thinking about capturing and killing Albedo (Lol) but he stopped himself because he doesn’t know her strength. I think. I read this from another comment.

@@JamesMerlaut No, Philip stealing and robbing their carriage was not part of their plan, they wanted to take over the kingdom, yes, but they were using a long term plan so that the young nobles would gain power and influence but Philip messed it all up and accelerated the destruction of the kingdom, that food was meant for the Holy Kingdom since it's already under Nazarick's control. That's information from the novels...

They are not on a server. In this anime this is a real world. Sometimes people from the game got transported to this world. I think the lore is it has something to do with the so called wild magic, that existed even before the magic system from the game was implemented into this new real world.

Lelouch has zero humility. His hubris is reigned in by his knowledge of reality. Momonga knows he's just a salary man, but his complete OPness actually requires him to play the game with some air of grandiosity. When he tries to be down to earth, things go sideways. Lelouch goes daring and pulls it off through 4D chess, while Ainz plays it extremely cautiously and lucks into winning at 4D chess.
1. It's a comedy anime/ln.
2. Everything the previous comment said.
3. One of the main points of comedy is that Ainz thinks much lower of himself than is actually the case. He is constantly prepared for the worst, going over every possibility. Only for most of that planning to be useless because of how powerful he is.
4. Lelouch is an underdog. Ainz is the opposite. That's why Overlord's ln focuses on the stories of those who encounter Ainz and have to deal with him, rather than Ainz himself, a lot of the time.
Lelouch and einz are very different from each other. One is an accidental overlord who will not hurt anyone if he had a choice while the other will kill half the world so he could move his plans.
How? Lelouch legit just wanted revenge on his father and to prevent tragedies like his own from ever happening agian. Ainz is an average dude who was put in the body of practically a god and given absolutely loyal minions who would slaughter the world if he asked them to

Well, the initial premise is misleading, if I described it, the anime would sound like a normal isekai- so think of it more like kingdom-craft. It’s definitely a 10/10, it had good comedic timing, the world building is great, and the characters are well-built. They’re not the good guys though.

What happened was actually not what they even planned but it worked out great for them. Aienz sent relief and food and medical supplies to go help people who had just gone threw a devastation and well Aienz sent literal humanitarian aid to civilians and the aid was attacked and stollen by the kingdom even though it had gone threw the proper channels. Israel keeps doing the exact same actions as that kind did. Aienz sent a message that if a people will kill relief aid workers and harm humanitarian relief then they are not meant to exist in this world nor any other for they have declared war on humanity and the world itself.
