against those treants I used Goblin Bolt Throwers which do 2x wounds to multiwound units. Also if I didnt killed some treant on 2 uses of GBT then I used Goblin Shortbows and after that hundreth of mouths spell with spell power 3.

The most succes I have had with mages involved their stat altering Spells and armor save improving.
Debuff leadership when you hit a flank charge on a Unit of orcs and you are almost sure they run.
The enemy has armoured units? Lower their defence when you are fighting them and even regular troops can smack them down.
With a mage I always get a fighter second so I am not trying to say that mage is better and I am sure I would do better if I started fighter and Got 2nd char mage.
The direct damage Spells are all bait or luxury additions in my opinion

Tough fight at the beginning of the episode there. Gotta commend your play as well. You are the first youtuber I've seen doing high challenge runs and taking on the final fight of Act 2 with a line of Elf melee infantry was impressive. Only time I saw much success with the Elf Mage was by going almost entirely archers, with some Reavers and a small unit of lancers for kiting purposes.
If I might have a suggestion for the production end of things. I really enjoy the sped up gameplay with your voice added in post, but I might suggest disabling the in game music. It sounds a little strange when it is sped up and then in the final battle when you had the video sped up, but the sound at normal speed the sound effects were out of sync. The sound effects were OK sped up, but disabling the music and maybe finding a royalty free, vaguely fantasy/medievalish instrumental playlist for in the background when you aren't talking.

      Cool thanks.
For kiting, well that is really difficult since it depends on the end game army. If you get 3 cannons then kiting becomes impossible with cavalry or a Lord on a mount.
Unfortunately I didn't get much ranged in shops, which is why I prefer melee Lords so much. Run them in and watch them work.
The sound effects are a bit off, it is still a work in progress. Video game music is usually not copyrighted, but getting free music from online comes with a lot of issues from what I heard. Like fake artists and music based off copyrighted material.
I will try to get something recorded for a base track that I can put in the sped up sections.

@@contractslivid5118 That's one of the interesting things about the campaigns I think. Sometimes you just end up against something that hard counters the options that you are given... Or at least the options you take. I had a lot of fun with a charge focused Orc army with boar riders and chariots. Until I ran up against an elite undead army where they couldn't sustain the damage long enough to kill them all. Sometimes it's the tree-ent when you don't have a cannon, sometimes it's the wraith lord when you get dealt goblins. It's how I find most my failed runs end.
Like in your last battle, you just lost the HP war against the most durable units in the game. You fought it hard though, which is something I find I tend to struggle with.
