So much going on in this layout, drivers in all cabs, superb. Such attention to detail in such a small scale. Sets the bar rather high for other modellers to aspire to.
Absolutely beautiful! The chickens in the yard were brilliant. Spotted the Roy C. Link - got to see a large bit of his collection at a narrow gauge meet this summer.
What a beautiful surprise to see the Small and Delightful Group video. As a former member in the good old 'Shepton' days before my emigration to Germany, it made me feel 15years younger! The filming was so smooth and unhurried and above all, the modelling standards were superb. Well done to all and ,Yes, Howard's request has my full backing.....next time show the Lion's Ladies' Luverly Cakes...Ahhh, the good old days. Frank Hodsman, Konstanz.
Many thanks Frank! Totally agree there, was luck enough to visit the last Shepton Show, just wish I knew about it sooner. The Small and Delightful shows have always managed to keep up the quality, though on a smaller scale. Certainly best cakes on the circuit no doubt!!!
Thanks Iain. Is always a pleasure to see Kaninchenbau. Always great fun trying to guess and track which train is to move next. Will get there one day 😅
Many thanks indeed Howard and a wonderful show as ever! I did try on two occasions, but sadly temptation beat me too it before I could get the camera on it 😂
@@SDJR7F88 Thanks Callum. Can you please put Saturday 25th February 2023 at Compton Dundon. Do you think that you will be able to attend hopefully with a layout Howard
Fantastic models and scenery. I know it's a model railway show, but seemed a little hectic showing off the models .... Would possibly have been nice seeing the canal boat gliding up and down a little ... Really nice and thanks for sharing. Al.
To all model railway bloggers Could you record without sound . Then dub sounds of trains ( like DDC ) on after . The backgroud noise is . . blah blah blah , well i , blah blah blah .
An absolute genius layout.

I want to see much, much more of the Hobbiton railway! It's not everyday you see such a fantasy model railway!
Indeed! Hopefully it will attend another show at some point in the future

Took me all day to film this show from opening to doors closing. Sadly the canal boat doesn't move. Always worth a visit in person at the next one 👍
Just came across this really nice video! Nice detailed pikes. DC or DC ? Looks like what I know as N scale track.

❤️❤️❤️
Smashing layout guys, what scale is it? It looks like a gauge 1 train on a oscale track.
good vid on channel
Thanks
Did your members make it into a module type? Meaning, each one would make 3 or 4 foot section each.
Have you any contact details for the small and delightful narrow gauge group thanks 👍
Hi Matt, the organizers Howard Martin has commented below. I'm sure if you add a reply to his comment he can sort you out with his details :)
Model?
The voice at the start talking about it being yellow soumds like Jeff Stewart from the Bill
Could well be ;)
Where was the show held?
All details, including layouts are in the video description
That looks real
Certainly some superb modelling on display
los modelos eran analógicos o Digitales
Both, as each layout used there own system

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit, as did anyone else who attended the show. Certainly was a very popular one. Well worth a visit!
