Thanks for making my morning. Good stuff as usual. I agree that AI isn't replacing creativity anytime soon. AI is most practical as a set of tool options for workflows that can bring new dimensions to the workload. As the tools get better, the results will look less generic when creators get more control over them. They still have a long way to go.
OK at 8:10 the poster is for the wrong film. "The Arrival" (1996) stars Charlie Sheen and "Arrival" (2016) stars Amy Adams, and is the one based on the Ted Chaing story.
I’m so far behind! I have nothing in my portfolio but student work, and it’s not even that great. Gotta keep pushing through. One day I’ll have something in my portfolio. 💀
Great stuff as always. Makes me want to come up with something to try Rive on. And my take on AI? It's a starting point tool at this point... not a finished product producer, but where it is in 18-24 months? Not sure at all. Def feel like AI is starting to hit a diminishing returns data set issue, but once quantum computers start to come online more practically, all bets are off me thinks.
Tell me you have no idea whats happening in the open source part of the AI art community without telling me....if you all think most of the high level stuff is even using a prompt, you're extremely out of the loop. I'm just saying, there is a lot happening in open source that never gets mentioned in any of these 'debates' which all seem to be very one sided by people who only have a surface level interaction with barely open sourced tools.
@@mgardner70 imagine if the great artists of past worked under this premise. we may not have all the beautiful are people pay to go see in museums today.
One of the few reasons to not hate mondays
Motion mondays already be the most waited content for me, or maybe for all motion designers🙌✨

Love the default AE file tip! Immediately paused the video to set one up for myself
Waiting patiently for the Rive course to drop
Wait one more month, plz.
Love me some Motion Mondays! Joey tells it like it is and Nothing More (because he’s just Tired of Winning). 😉
Love starting the week off with these videos
Damn Joey! I've been using AE for 20 years and never knew that template trick either. lol
as always amaing, one of it's kind show
I think "Blender to Resolve: a Freemium Video Course" from Creative Shrimp deserve to be mentioned.
I’ve been a proponent of Limber for a while.
Nothing More 🤘🏻

Tip: for the people living in Europe near The Netherlands, this weekend IBC Expo starts again.
Will Nvidia ever sue James CUDA to stop him using his own name? They certainly have the money to give it a go!
re: limber. Can you key frame all parameters across a rig with 1 click?
I will haven't tried rive despite all the constant mentions of it. Perhaps if you showed some cool examples of what it can do?
3:40 maybe Z brush is finally launching on iPad?
🤔
All Access you say?
🥰🙏

Example: This is made with open source AI tools (AnimateDiff, ComfyUI, ect)

"Apple Cred" sounds lamer than being a scientologist.
first?
If art is about conscious intent, then AI is actually an artist. The prompts that are input by the user qualify as “intent”. 🤔
School of motion falling off
😂 hardly
@@mgardner70 simping for AI have you seen their Beeple interview.
@@samcollins7633 Yes. He is right. Your toenail isn’t going to change the landscape.

also who needs Beeple anymore when you have GROK 2.0 ...Beeples biggest platform was Elon. now Elon has grok 2.0 and beeple can fade into irrelevance
