Ok so about how much cassie travels inside the elevator. I searched online that an elevator has a steady speed, meaning no acceleration, when going up. It was something of between 0.2 m/s and 1 m/s. Asuming the one we see is 1 m/s then we can calculate how much it elevates to the surface. Since the time from when the doors close, to when the elevator drops is roughly 40 seconds. We can do finalDistance = initial_D + speed * time + (acceleration*time^2)/2 finalDistance = 0 m + 1 m/s * 40 s + 0 m = 40 m Then we can calculate the acceleration of a free falling object from a height of 40 meters. Asuming that when the 40 seconds occurs is mostly when the elevator stops speeding up and becomes 0 m/s of speed. finalDistance = 40 m + 0m/s * 7 s - (9.8 m/s^2 * 49 s^2) / 2 = 40 m - 240 m = 200 m Basically 200 meters of fall.
I want to practically confirm the theory that it was not Gregory who was talking on the elevator speaker, it was The Mimic, because it said "to save me" and "down here" it would not be logical for Gregory to say "down here" if he was not down there supposedly.

The events of Ruin dlc took place in 2034 months after the princess quest ending from the events of security breach which also took place in 2034. Gregory and Cassie were born in 2024 and Vanessa was born in 2010.
Was that really Roxy calling out for Cassie? I hope it was. But we must also remember what kind of monster we are dealing with. It could easily replicate her voice as it has the voices of it's countless victims. If Cassie survived the fall, and that's a big if, she is still in grave grave danger.

We must look at the facts. Whatever this thing is, Gregory is deathly scared of it, as suggested by how he talked about it. And honestly, why would the Mimic destroy the elevator? It's only chance of leaving to the outside world?

He also says things like "he's right behind you" how does he know that lol, i dont think she talked to Gregory in any instance.
