Why oh why does bead crochet make so much sense when I watch someone explaining it? (It even makes sense when *I* explain it!) So, why can’t I just get my muscles to do what the proper movements are? I have had a few good days and had decent sized tubes that ended up back as beads on a string! I understand that getting past the first couple of rounds is the hardest, I even had a starter nub that I made from bigger beads, that helped me out for quite a while. But since I never had time to finish anything, I abandoned bead crochet for Kumihimo. But in my heart, I know that it is *not* BC! I must not let it “win!” Oh yeah, I happened to love bc’ing with wire, seed beads, small gems, and crystals! It’s so forgiving and really unique. Please tell me if you have any tips for “getting past” the perfectionist’s beginning-e.g. letting it “go” to see if the 4th, 5th or 6th Rnd will not be wonky. Does anyone know what I am talking about?
I often put a beaded spool in a big prescription pill container. Helps with keeping track of runaway spools.
