- Welcome to my NYC Urban Garden! My name in Mari and I'm gardening in Queens, NYC zone 7b.
Podcast I mention in the video: notillflowers....

I used unsulphured molasses for this application
How to use molasses in the garden:
1. Spray on leaves, or drench
Mix 2 tablespoons of molasses per gallon of water and spray directly on plant leaves. The nutrients will absorbed quickly this way.
2. Pour on soil
Add molasses at a rate of 1 to 3 tablespoons (14-44 ml.) to 1 gallon (3.5 L.) of water and drench on the soil to feed the soil life.
You can apply molasses in the garden every week or every ten days.

Thank you!!! 💚💚💚
Wow the plot is looking beautiful!
Thank you!!! 🌸🧡
Can’t wait to use molasses to feed my plants! Thanks for the reminder that this is a great fertilizer!
You’re very welcome!! I think your plants are going to love it 🥰
Wow love the idea of molasses, gonna try today, look at the progress of your garden! Beautiful
Thank you!! I’m excited that you are trying too! I used unsulphured molasses for this one. I forgot to say that in the video
I love this way of trellising tomatoes. I'm not a fan of cages, at least the ones I have are not enough to hold the plants in place and make it difficult to prune, pinch, and harvest. I'm already thinking about implementing something like this in my garden. Your videos are always so inspiring!
Thank you so much Yosa!!! I’m so glad you might try that in your garden too 💚💚💚
Beautiful!! I never knew molasses was so great for plants
Thank you! I know!! I just learned about it recently too
Your plot is looking amazing❤❤❤
Thank you so much! 💚
Great job trellising the tomato. I must try that method. I have several different types of cages. Some work better that others.
Thank you! It’s my first time trying it this year. I hope it works out!!
Tudo muito bem cuidado. Parabéns filha!
Muito obrigada!! 🥰🌸💕
Cuidar do jardim da trabalho mas eu gosto! rs

Thsnk you for the information. Can i use any molasses? The one you get at the supermarket, or is it horticultural molasses?
I get the edible ones from the supermarket or amazon. I just make sure it’s unsulphured. If you can find organic, even better!
