Can the lapel be less than 5". And would i have to measure less than 2" at the front neckline, if lapel is cutting smaller.

@triciasslayroom yes it can be less than 5". If u take away 1.5" from the neckline ,when u open it will be 3" when cutting fabric for ur lapel u will need 0.5" on both sides ,meaning you will cut 4" width for the lapel.
