  • Software architecture plays a pivotal role in the success of any software project. It defines the high-level structure of the system, guiding developers in making decisions that impact the project’s scalability, maintainability, and overall quality. However, as software systems evolve and developers contribute code, maintaining architectural integrity becomes a challenging task. This is where architectural testing tools like ArchUnit come into play, offering a robust solution for ensuring that the codebase adheres to the defined architecture and also validates if your architecture is stable enough through different Architecture metrics.
In this talk, I will be sharing the testing rules offered by ArchUnit, validate whether we adhere to the Design Pattern and in-depth insights about the Architecture metrics defined by John Lakos & Robert C. Martin which can be used to validate your Software Architecture.
