On Spitting Images in about 1985 Prince Philip sung the words "Finished with my Monarch now" in a similar manner as this. I pissed myself then and this is just as good.
Laughing, literally out loud, in front of my iMac, like a mental patient. The whimsical, swinging arrangements coupled with the dark, dark lyrics is genius. And the musicianship is masterful. What a concept you have here. Pleasantly surprised that you can get away with this while not being blocked. We all benefit.

Somehow they still have the same meaning, even though they sound completely different. Listening to this gave me a new appreciation for how awesome the lyrics are in so many Black Sabbath songs. You can’t always understand the words in the original Sabbath songs as well as you can here. Anyway, this is truly worth a listen.

The original Sabbath actually had a noticeable big-band groove embedded in their rhythm section. They were very much a blues band with a 50s style R&B rubato. Van Halen had that too.

It immediatley reminded me of Bobby Darin's, horribly sad lyrics, while simultaneously uptempo swinging hard, "Artificial Flowers". Purists hate it, I love it, as the arrangement is such a great counterbalance to a very sad story.

Bravo. This basically 50's rockabilly with Sabbath lyrics, which are often so dark, crazy, and confused, it makes this all the more hilarious--jaunty and apocalyptic at the same time. I love it, but think bits of Iommi's guitar riffs could be incorporated using this style. "Hand of Doom" kind of does that, and beautifully indeed.

Bravo. This basically 50's rockabilly with Sabbath lyrics, which are often so dark, crazy, and confused, it makes this all the more hilarious--jaunty and apocalyptic at the same time. I love it, but think bits of Iommi's guitar riffs could be incorporated using this style. "Hand of Doom" kind of does that, and beautifully indeed.
Man i just about choked on my Breakfast. This has got to be the funniest thing i'v heard in ages. The doom and gloom of Black Sabbath, with the Upbeat optimism of the 50's, is hilarious. these Guys would have been locked up if they released this in the 50's.
These would fit perfectly in the Fallout games.
