What If Every Danganronpa 2 Character Switched Talents?

- We're back with another Danganronpa Talent Swap video! This time including the Danganronpa Goodbye Despair cast. Characters like Nagito Komaeda and Hajime Hinata will cast off their old identities and assume new ones. Just like the last Talent switch video we'll go through the changes, both character and plot wise. Unlike the last video though.....its actually interesting.

I definitely feel like the games did a better job as they progressed with actually implementing the talents into the story of the game effectively. In the first game you kinda forget some of the talents of certain characters but by you reach V3 you are definitely reminded what talent each student has.
I missed my boys Birthday yesterday. :(

My take for this talent swap au-
Chapter 1: mostly stays the same, Teruteru killer and "Coach" (imposter) is victim still. The motivation is mostly the same but Nagito, being the nurse would cause Teruteru to get paranoia with his sick mom so instead of Nagito trying to kill he manipulates teruteru making him a more puppet master antagonist that controls the situation because he has no BS luck anymore.
Chapter 2: my take I do like your idea but personally i think because of Maihiru's BS luck she accidentally makes a murderer by being around Hiyoko, Maybe Hiyoko see's how Fuyuhiko is being an ass especially to Maihiru not having a "real talent" and how her and hiyoko shouldn't be here. Hiyoko tries to confront The animal breeder for his behavior with Mahiru only for Fuyuhiko to try and attack hiyoko by blind rage and he misses. Mahiru protects Hiyoko and when peko hears the noise in the beach house, and see's her childhood friend in trouble, she tries to attack with her frying pan, misses, but accidentally breaks Fuyuhiko's skull open in front of hiyoko and mahiru. Both run away in fear and before fuyuhiko dies he does what you said, take down mahiru no matter what, and peko logs out of life. No living culprit and makes a mess in the trials and everyone is sus on hiyoko and mahiru.
Chapter 3:
Since Maihiru survived chapter 2 her and hiyoko are tight together. Hajime Being the ultimate gamer starts making allies at this time being a introvert gamer, being Kazuichi (extrovert adopts introvert in a nutshell) and of course the Gym gal, Chiaki being his crush he is very willing to be nice to her.
Despair disease happens, Mikan having Forgetful disease (opposite to her remember one in main game), Sonia with Cowards disease (instead of akane since akane is a dancer and sonia is the swords woman) and last one being Chiaki, with lazy disease (Basically she's always tired and doesn't even bother moving out of bed) Nagito volunteers to help the ill and everyone at first doesn't trust him but he immediately is like "Okay who's the ultimate nurse here? Because last time I checked you guys don't have doctor diplomas" (being a smart ass) so they let him. Nagito plans another murder here since Chiaki has lazy disease she won't bother trying to get up or wake up so he leaves her alone, Leaving Mikan to be forgetful so the nurse manipulates Sonia to kill mikan because Mikan is plotting something against her. Due to her coward disease she immediately gets in flight and fight (fight mode) and goes straight to mikans room to kill her. Nagito tampers with the crime scene to make it look like he did it so he would get everyone's attention in the trial considering he's the only one who knows who actually killed Mikan and Chiaki was sound asleep during that time so she didn't know either despite being next door to mikan and sonia in the hospital.
Sonia is executed for chapter 3 once everyone recovers and Nagito snitches in trials after getting ganged up on (to add insult Sonia and Chiaki forgot considering in main game everyone forgot their experience when they were sick with despair disease. Nagito knew that and took advantage of that illness to make a murderer without getting his hands dirty)
Chapter 4, I think due to losing sonia, Imposter (Gundam) gets depressed since they still were dating together here or at least he liked her a lot, so when everyone is stuck in the grape/strawberry house he still goes to nekomaru, the Yakuza, and challenges him, basically the same but Gundam falls in the battle on purpose, Nekomaru being a Yakuza, who most likely also hides his crimes in public well makes a more difficult crime scene for everyone so he doesn't get caught, He ends up getting caught because Mahiru's bs luck accidentally helping the group find missing piece of rhe evidence to Gundam's killer.
Chapter 4 is basically a reverse situation
Also no mechamaru because Yakuza nekomaru built different/j
Chapter 5 remaining students so far are Ibuki (ultimate princess), Mahiru (Ultimate lucky student), Hiyoko (Reserve course student), Hajime (ultimate Gamer), Chiaki (Ultimate Gymnast), Akane (Ultimate traditional Dancer), Nagito (Ultimate Nurse), and Soda (ultimate Musician).
Nagito knows no one trust him especially after chapter 3/1 so Nagito decides to do his magnum opus on his addictive behavior to hope, by using the chemicals to cause a terrorist attack same as chapter 5, But difference is Nagito's plan is to find the traitor (Still Chiaki), and make the traitor accidentally kill one lf her friends so he can he the savior and catch her for murder and working with the future foundation (Chiaki isn't an ai here, she's using her avatar from Alter ego to communicate to the students in this virtual world while knowing the truth in this au). Nagito manages to hide a bit and even leading Chiaki to target him during the attack, only due to the chemicals to make all students (even Nagito by accident) to hallucinate. After everyone blacks out, And wakes up they all see Hiyoko Dead after that, Nagito doesn't even know if chiaki killed or not since everyone blacked out. And it's revealed Mahiru's bs luck kicks in one last time, as Nagito getting accidentally Drugged up during that chemical outbreak and during the hallucinations, he accidentally kills hiyoko. Leaving to Nagito getting executed before his plan failed because of luck (ironic in this au lol)
Before his execution he does Reveal That he knows Chiaki is rhe traitor since back in chapter 4 he made a deal with Mahiru to enter the dead room and he would not doing anything sus that chapter, and not wanting to repeat chapter 3, mahiru agrees and at least Nagito keeps his word in chapter 4 but thats how he knwos since she gives him the book and hidden files as he wanted.
But yeah Survivors:
Soda ultimate musician
Chiaki ultimate Gymnasts
Mahiru ultimate Lucky student
Hajime ultimate Gamer
And Ibuki Ultimate Princess
I know there's plot holes here but I'm curious on what you think on my take!
Youre really lacking creativity here, alot of these changes would really change up the characters, fuyuhiko’s entire upbringing and demeanor would be completely different, Akane wouldnt have the same completely impoverished family history that pushed her to take up gymnastics to help them.
Theres SO many things that would change, but those changes would also interact with their character traits that are independent of their talents, akane and ibuki would both struggle to maintain their prim and proper images against their rambunctious natures, etc.
That's a fair criticism, but the video was more about plot implications and how things would occur. Also, outside of the brain wracking I did thinking about the plot, the whole video was done in one take so that's why there's a "lack of creativity". But I probably could've gone into more depth about the characters. So thanks for the criticism! I'm always looking for ways to make my videos better.
