- Animal Kingdom TNT's Shawn Hatosy & Japser Polish are interviewed by Carly Starr Brullo-Niles before a live audience at The Star Theatre in Downtown Oceanside, CA as part of the Oceanside Intl Film Festival's Animal Kingdom Send-Off Screening and Celebration Event on June 22nd, 2022. Attendees were treated to an early screening of the final season's 3rd episode, directed by Hatosy and an in-depth conversation with fans. #FamilyTilTheEnd
Shawn should of won Emmys every year he played Pope !
Shawn Hatosy's performance throughout was award worthy!!!! The level of depth that Shawn brought to Pope's character was nothing short of BRILLIANT! Pope was my favorite character and his plight tugged at my heart and my head throughout. Shawn is an amazing actor and director!
What happened to Julia was equally tragic and there couldn't be a more hate worthy character than Smurf!. Ellen Barkin and Leila George play heartless very well, almost too well!
Denis Leary was a brilliant addition to this series. He is a natural on screen and added some much needed comic relief and witty banter, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
I LOVED this series because it had everything and is not just a violent, action packed crime show that would appeal to only one audience. It has depth and each character pulls you into their psyche and their predicament. Although it was all so tragic, there is something to be said about how just how many lives ONE sociopath (Smurf) can destroy.
Im so glad that in season 6, we're getting a firsthand look at Julia's story.
God my husband and I have LOVED this show. We talked so much about it when we first started dating. Thanks Oceanside for giving us the Cody family backdrop!
Most badass show ever upset it's gonna end.

Like there’s nothing left to tell what esle would he be doing there it doesn’t make sense the only one that would be interesting maybe is the younger Julia and baz and filling in the time until we see them in the regular show idk I feel like they’ve told everything they can tell about this story for the most part

I have been hooked since season 1, episode 1. I literally have a stomach ache from the anticipation of the conclusion. My money is on J, but a handful of episodes left and we shall see. My grandmother, who passed in 1999 loved Guiding Light, as a young child, I had no choice but to watch. Jake Weary looks like his mom and always makes me think of my grandma. Dysfunctional or not, family is family, good, bad , indifferent. Still blows my mind to hear the cast that’s not American speak. Good luck to you all.

I love ANIMAL KINGDOM!!! I am a lifetime resident of Oceanside, Smurf's age (so I understand her....it was a female time of rebellion). I don't want you guys to go. ANIMAL KINGDOM BELONGS TO OCEANSIDE......PLEASE COME BACK!!!

Not really a tv series person but got hooked on this show season 1 and watched every episode at least twice. Felt really attached to the characters and so sad to see it end. But, well done and thank you to everyone involved.

Never thought that young julia would be the hottest female actor in the series
It s me again---smurf was dubbed surfing by her mother's befriend who abused her when she was young. Grown-up surfing got even---to put it mildly

I only ever had one show I loved and that's Son's of Anarchy but after Animal Kingdom I have two shows I love.
