Please make this happen. I was with you on 3 Lancs Day 2014. I so much want to see Jane take to the skies again. In tears watching this video. It's so emotional. I watch all the update videos as they come online. I have a long way to travel to see this momentous event. But i will be there. Good luck. Keep up the fantastic work on her. It is inspirational.
Good Luck and best wishes to the Just Jane team. I sincerely hope soon we will see a two Lancaster formation again, or could it even be a three up one off once again. Gosh that I would pay handsomely to see. Stay safe and best wishes and Neville thanks for the great Video diary. Stewart Morgan ( lover of anything old and British)
Heroes. Every last one of them. They knew that the odds were against them and may not return but they still went anyway. To me that is what makes me proud of them all (living and gone). Just Jane is one of the most beautiful Ladies ever to grace this world and She will one day be back where She belongs, in the air and on that day, my gritty eye syndrome will go into overdrive
Harris and his brave crews were treated in such a shoddy manner after the war. Regardless of how history today judges their actions by modern standards, Bomber Command was effective and did help shorten the war.
Visited 3 November. Go look and absorb the atmosphere - no where else can you take a taxi ride. Other than in Canada maybe. Check out Neville Wheeldon's excellent videos on the painstaking and detailed restoration .
The shots of Christopher in his wartime uniform as a Flight Engineer are in front of a Halifax. Did Christopher fly the Lancaster or the Halifax or both even??
Back in the late 70s The Queens flight was hauled around different ( mostly by terrific engineers from Ricardo) Turned out / because of the excessive length of the * pushrod tubes* no one could join in the manufacturing… [except for our lot] Think there were 128 valve stems.. and only one of our “ wards” could create perfection… Needless to say it was Brian.. He. Worked 7 wk - each phos bronze assy ( I think) were * ball swaged* and fixed I no to place
What wasn’t said Because of the then “ official secrets act… we were given to silence ( not now) Turned out ( and i don’t know how true) We weren't aloud to discuss.. even down to the costings - not one penny was passed onto *The Flight) Good enough that enough of our reputation came from this type of experience… In latter years Our designer… created 13 press tools … that went together to make the SA 80 ,, Rifle Not without its early teathing problems…. Still in use as models
Can't wait to get inside this magnificent flying machine again. But can you please post a video without the orchestra? I just wanna hear those beautiful Merlins - there cannot be any sweeter music!
I’ve had a taxi run in this fantastic aircraft thanks to my wife it’s something I’ll never forget and I hope to see her fly 🤞

I encourage every viewer to visit and support. Such an inspiring place to visit and a worthy ambition to see her fly again.
Wish you success with Jane.
Been going to see Just Jane for nearly 25 years now, can,t wait for that day when we will see her take to the skies again.
Restoration of the Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane' - Colossal work!
I’ll try to support the restoration of the Lancaster and other ww2 planes 1000% for starters spread the word
Very well shot!
Pleased to be a silver supporter. Hope I get to visit more times in 2021 than i've been able to in 2020 🙂
I love people’s passion for the Lancaster

How much of the original plane is in the restoration?
