I believe taking the flush over trying for the straight flush in that hand was correct because the straight flush required deuces which makes the 2s you were holding a penalty card so to speak. You played it correctly

That was a brutal session, the cards were like missing on purpose. That happens a lot and you can’t buy a 4 oak.
