- Welcome back to DBK Productions!
In this video I am bringing you with me in my journey to installing a test pipe on my Audi A4 B5 1.8T Quattro // Project B5 Quattro.
I really appriciate all the support from every single one of you so every like one these videos really brings a smile to me, thanks!
I did install a test pipe on my 1.9tdi also in no time, but this turned out to be no fun to do.
I will take my time to work on the next video a little more to improve the quality, and also the parts are taking ages to come.
I am doing this on very tight budget and with tools I have so please stay with me.
A lot more is going to happen and I can't wait to show it off.
Altho there are few things that needs to be taken care of like leaking cv boot and one of the wheel bearings, i thought that it would be cool to show off something that improves cars performance, so I will fix all those things off camera probabbly.
Some notes for anyone doing this at home alone.
You will need at least jack stands and some socket extentions.
If your exhaust piping is rusty and has never seen daylight get ready for war zone and a lot of cursing.
Test pipe is hard to tighten to turbo also get new hardware and gaskets as you will really need them.
Take your time and be ready that it might be harder than you think.
Anyways thanks for watching and see you in the next one!

How did you change the ignition module of the filter box friend?
How did you put a bov on the car and did you have any issues
Hi, I have an separate video about this. You can look it up.
Wouldn’t suggest the install if you’re not planning on reprogramming the ecu to account for it, because otherwise you’re just gonna loose boost pressure on every gear change and it actually loses the power instead of gaining it. You will have to spool up your turbo after every shift. Fun for a while, but then you’re going to realize that power over sound is a lot nicer. Cheers!
@@KRX_WestCoast Not to mention the fact that you are losing metered air. It will throw off the air fuel ratio.

hey. How did u fix the waste gate flapper . Mine has the same problem. btw nice vid hope u reply.
Hi, thanks!
To be honest it was really simple job. Undo the turbo and you can just barely pull it back so the wastegate adjustment screw is visible, then finger tighten it to close the wastegate properly and tighten the nuts on the wastegate shaft. Put it all back together and should be fixed .
