Kingfishers fishing

Video clips of a young and an adult kingfisher fishing from my fishing rods. It was shot on digital SLR with a 400mm lens, hence why there is a bit of camera shake as it was taken handheld and not on a tripod.

Beautiful footage Gary. I don't think there is a much finer sight than being bestowed with the presence of the anglers best friend perched upon his rod.

Mark Erdwin Thanks, always difficult shooting handheld rather than on a tripod, but when it is something like kingfishers I don't think it matters so much as I was just happy to get any sort of footage of them - let alone this amount (I've cut a fair bit out as well).

thailandheron That was a stone - not sure why it picked up that and no one I've spoken to seems to know either - apparently quite unusual for them to do so.
