As female trucker looking to do LP, I appreciate this video.. I've came to the conclusion that, apart of becoming successful in ANYTHING, u have to block out the outside noise and negativity 4rm others. Because half of them never driven a truck or did a LP.. Its all about your determination, your "will power & working smarter to beat the odds.. Much blessings to you and u the best!

I’ve been here at Garrison for 7 great years… bout to complete my 2nd lease… the f/s inclusion on the rate confirmation is simply how Garrison breaks down the total l/h… add the f/s back to the l/h … devide that # by the trip miles … that final # is actually what your truck is making per mile..and just budget your fuel from that number… and I to net $3k per week.. stay safe
Your comment has really confused me. I’m not understanding the f/s and the I/h. The way I broke it down in the video is how it’s been coming out for me on my settlements. I’m not saying your way is wrong. I just don’t quite understand. I would love to try this method to see if it works for me. So, I can share with others.

Lease purchase is not a scam, and that’s a fact. With that being said, it’s not really for most drivers out there, that doesn’t make it a scam, just because 2-3 out of every 10 drivers are able to complete it. I mean when over 60% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, meaning they live above their means, which if you are living paycheck to pay check, you are in fact living outside your financial means, how do you expect the same statistic of people to properly complete a lease purchase??? Every single business in the world exists for profit, not charity, and writing the lease in YOUR favor and not the companies is not for profit, and bad business practice. I get tired of hearing leasing is a scam, it’s not, you are just part of the 60-70% of people who don’t know how to run a trucking business.

It’s 1099, you need to FSC to taxes in and savings and time living on the road, it’s a lifestyle not a regular type job
it amazes me to see people crying in the comments i mean listen if you want a perfect world then trucking isn't for you . look at it like this the average person working a 9 to 5 dont see anywhere near that so hey instead of people complaining about all the wrongs look at it like every dollar counts shut up and make some money and stop crying all the dam time man . if you gonne complain then get out of trucking. hoping to make my way over to them shortly just got done with approval .

Yes, you can ask for more on the fuel surcharge or they will give you a better load.

When u finish your lease how many miles are on your truck? How many years you getout of said truck after paying it off?

@@henryjohnson7822but why would you want to keep leasing instead of having a paid off cash truck and keep all the profit and invest in other things? You would make so much more going on the open market, getting a good broker, or hauling locally pending where you live and have more hole time earning more
8 didnt see anything about actual miles ran. The total miles they give you in your load info is NOT including deadhead miles and sometimes your liaded mikes are even off uo to 50 mikes sometimes

No, you take the drug test before orientation.
@@Coach.Ambyy05 the physical as well? A recruiter just asked me to send a copy to her. Just making sure because I went with a company that told me as long as it didn't expire in 30-60 days I was good BUT got to the company and had to do one all over.
