- This week's #BehindTheBraids family vlog lets you experience the first day of school in our home! This year, Paisley started kindergarten which will the first time in nearly 17 years that Shaun and I have not had kids at home during the day! Super sad, yet kind of exciting all at the same time!

We included a Behind the Braids "Flashback" to Brooklyn and Bailey's first day of kindergarten, so you can see the first and lasts of our kids "first day of school ever".
Kids grow up so fast, so please take the time to enjoy the little things because children don't stay little for long!
We also included some footage from Brooklyn and Bailey's pep rally, in preparation for their school's first football game. The twins dance in their school's drill team.

I was thinking the exact same thing! It's super adorable and sweet. It's also cool how she "shares" a room with her brother, but they still have privacy. I think the reasoning behind it was because they didn't have enough bedrooms for them to have their own.

Shawn and Ced Family Chronicles Mindy can still keep Paisley’s hair healthy. Saying that only a black woman can do it is completely racist. In one of the vlogs, Mindy talked about how the reason she gets Paisley’s hair done is because she isn’t as good at it and the woman who does her hair is quicker at it...And it just so happens to be someone who is also black.

Well, Brooklyn and Bailey are twins and they are also the oldest, but Brooklyn is the oldest twin. She is older than Bailey by about 2 minutes. Then, is Kamri, then Rylan. Daxton and Paisley are the youngest and adopted, but Daxton is older than Paisley.

USA subjects are much different to UK subjects. They seem more complicated and there seems to be more lol. Pep rallies seem so much fun.
I live in USA and that's not true for every state but my state is different form theirs
Lol yeah but like most of Asia has subjects way more complex than the U.K or the U.S and I don't about anywhere else but in my school they start dividing the sciences into three different subjects at 12 so like yeh ._.
+Anneisnotonfire it's the same in the U.K. As soon as you reach high school you divide sciences into three... also you have to remember that high school starts at age 11 in the U.K. So they are adjusting to adult environments at such a young age. In the U.K they make you choose GCSEs which is where you have to master a chosen amount of subjects for university in the US you obviously do multiple different subjects at a certain level. Overall I think they're both hard in different ways and both easy in different ways for different reasons so it's hard to compare. Either way, both places have outstanding health care services e.g. Doctors,nurses, dentists and that's great. :)
They may seem more complex, but the UK educational system is very different from the US. You cant really compare the two, but the UK is known to have a better educational system.

American schooling is so different. I don't know if they go to different schools or not but it seems that the twins weren't at school for that long. I'm from Australia and everyone goes to school for at least 6 hours a day. My school starts at 8:30 ends at 3pm

The pep rally's at my high school were always out of control. For one thing my school was overcrowded plus it had a lot of bad kids. Ours were never civilized like this one, They were always blasting rap music and the drill team we had were like actual drill team like Bring It.
