I read like Evan, and still do. He’s probably a fast reader, too, which I didn’t realize until I was a bit older, gives him an advantage in being able to read more books! I have always felt lucky to have that!
The Percy Jackson series is wonderful, The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer is a great set of books too, and I hear David Walliams writes very well too.

When pregnant, I learnt that the average age for a baby to walk was 13 months. My daughter was a speed crawler for months. We were sitting by our pool when she stood up and walked to me. I was so thrilled - she had walked on the exact day she turned 13 months. I think Sylvie looks close to walking. She's sooo beautiful.
Sylvies face is so cute! She really is such a mix or all her siblings' faces. She used to remind me a lot of Rufus, but lately she looks a lot like little Otto, with the cheeky grin Baby Evan did. I can't wait to see them walk, although it's kinda bittersweet that they're getting so big now.
That is so fun. I never got to sleep over in my classroom but I have numerous sleepover and summer camp sleepovers with classmates at hotels and stuff. I love the idea of them having their own experiences outside of home.

Hey Chloe, I know, it’s none of my business, but I would really recommend to go and check Ottos eyes at a doctor, if you haven’t already. He is a bit crossed eyed. If you don’t handle that fast enough, it can be a very serious problem for him later. I’m a eye doctor and know very well how bad that can be . Best regards :) (Sorry if the English isn’t perfect, I’m from Germany)
I think they had that cleared before. One of his eyes is farsighted, so he has glasses to correct that. He probably just didn't wear them in that particular shot.
Sylvie is starting to look so much like Hank! Where she looked like Otto before! I think Sylvie will walk first, maybe in 2 or 3 weeks! I would have said Cosmo but Sylvie seemed so comfortable standing!

The book Evan reads seems like fun, might read it myself sometime too even. I like to dive into fantasy themed stories written for any age. They often promise a nice little escape kind of adventure. Also nice easy escape from all the grown up stuff (even though I enjoy those stories too at my old age *compared to you all* of 33 ;p the sweet luxuries of being *old* but also partly still a little bit of a child at heart.) Book theme also reminds me of something I dreamed when I was younger, maybe even a child (yes I remember some fun dreams I have had). Also happy Otto had a good time on his sleepover. Am curious who’ll walk first but it likely won’t be long before they do their best to keep up with the older siblings.
I think Cosmo i think maybe he will start walking on his Birthday if you get him something to walk with that has a handle on it like a shopping cart he will get used to walking with it then he will let go and just start walking. That's exactly what all 3 of my daughters did. I put a weight in the basket so it wouldn't tip over and it only took a few days and they let go took off walking. 😊❤ just an idea for you.
Our kids in Switzerland all had sleepovers in kindergarten and early school. From 4th grade they go on camps, both summer and ski camps, they all love it! My daughters walked at 9.5 mths (running around 😳), 11.5 mths and 14 mths in that order of age, but it seemed to depend on body type and character; the first was a lighter build, while the other two were chunkier, and the youngest is cautious by nature.
I love how Evan is asking if Sylvie is leaning and if she stood up alone, he's such a smart boy! I really think he would love the book, A Wrinkle In Time, if he hasn't read it already. Sylvie is about 2 weeks away from walking, so I reckon she will be the first to take those first steps.
Give them a small toy or something like that when they're standing, that'll make them feel more confident to walk. It totally worked with my sister and my cousin, I thing its bc they feel like they holding on the object

Yes this is true about the schoo camps when you get older because now i'm in year 7/grade 6 and I am going on camp but we are flying to a different country for a week! And I would like to know there favourite books, movies and games to play! It would be fun to see it.
My oldest was a bit of a risk taker (still is) but when it came to walking it scared him and he did not try to take off until he was almost 15 months old, but like cosmo had been on the early side with his previous milestones. My daughter was very cautious and she walked at 14 months, she had also been early for all her milestones. My third was a bit lazy and laid back so he took just a little longer to hit milestones but walked at 13 months, he had to keep up with hit siblings I always say!! My 4th child was very early for all his milestones and walked at 12 months almost exactly like within days of his birthday, but he has a bit of speech delay at 4. Each kid is different but usually when babies start standing its a matter ofweeks and confidence for them to just take their first steps so my guess is Sylvie will be first with Coco not that far behind.
Curious about how the kiddos are adapting to a non-vegan diet after years of eating plant-based. Have they had any trouble digesting dairy or eggs? Have they expressed prefering cows milk's taste over nut milk for example? simply curious. Lovely family

I wouldn't encourage any to walk earlier unless there's a delay. We now know that crawling is critically important for future life success. Kids who didn't crawl enough have more adhd and other differences.
Are you joking? Because I have heard many many times from very good sources who study child development that it makes absolutely no difference one way or another.

The more she stands and encourage her to Walking can be encouraged by taking their hands up and walking with them around house or outside..uses and strengthens muscle..gives confidence..try this. I did this with my children..my Mom did and we were off and running True..understand I am not Saying before the baby is ready but as they show signs of wanting to walk.. It introduces them to want the freedom.. I want to thank you for your videos..you are an example of knowledgeable and loving, patient, parenting..your listening to each child. . Get some push toys like baby walkers. If Sylvia were able to hold on to a walking cart or Trollie type, it would help. So fun. That year went fast.

No they haven’t had any digestive issues. They still drink plant milk as they prefer it though. 😊
