Fun fact! Alamat's main dancers, Jao and Taneo were the ones who did the choreography for Gayuma. Mo co produced Gayuma with music pb cursebox and co written it too with Taneo and Alas!
#Alamat is really making girls and boys blush but that's their charm they are just so crushable all of them and the music is good too...more reactions for them
Thanks for this RV guys! 🤎🫶🏼 Alamat slays as always! Please review their collab and commercial songs like “Galing Dito Alamat x DITO Telecommunity and COKE studio collabs. Thank you 🥰
Yaay! Another ALAMAT reaction! ❤ Thank you! I was looking forward to this 😊 Just a fun fact btw: Gayuma was composed and produced by Mo, co-written by Alas and Taneo and choreographed by Jao and Taneo. You should react to Noli next, which is another sexy song of theirs. It's also composed/written by Mo, produced by Alas and R-Ji, choreographed by Jao and Taneo (and recorded in Tomas' room 😅) (Also, still hoping for you to react to their other ballad song, Walang Hanggan 😅 It's my favorite aside from Sa Panaginip Na Lang)
Btw, here are a couple of yt links for a quick guide to ALAMAT (both videos are from Fandom Palayok): ruclips.net/video/broqcxW70hg/видео.htmlsi=55_eWtsZ1RgiaIVE ruclips.net/video/hmXfaWGhEoA/видео.htmlsi=X0r8gHIZd0CHPvuO
The fact that they help compose/write their own songs and choreograph their own dances makes me love them more!!! And we will definitely check out Walang Haggan as part of our deep dive, so stay tuned 🤗❤️- jenae
@@SisterzReactt Indeed! One of the things I love about them is that they're not merely performers, every member has a hand in the creative process of most if not all of their songs. They're all very creative and talented. Also, I forgot to mention that their debut kbye was actually written/composed by all 9 members as well. IIRC it wasn't supposed to be their debut. I believe it was supposed to be Kasmala. But since all the members had a hand in the creation of the song, the management decided it'd be more fitting for kbye to be their debut. Gives it more meaning, I suppose, for their debut song to be something they made themselves. Btw, they vlog the recording process of most of their songs as well. Here are the links for Gayuma and Noli recording if you're interested: Noli ruclips.net/video/Muor9kCO1cc/видео.htmlsi=aHdUm_pL-E8SUZbz Gayuma ruclips.net/video/ftDrWCm5kUE/видео.htmlsi=80lVVp31Fu1_KbpO I'm just not sure if they have eng subtitles. Still very enjoyable to watch though. ☺️
Wish bus really needs to upload to their older perfs...it's criminal not to when they've performed all their songs already but at least we have wish bus fancams Anyways, thanks for reacting to ALAMAT! Taneo is indeed the leader and is also main dancer along with Jao! You've mostly got the pronunciations right but Taneo is said more slowly with the "ne" being drawn out a bit and emphasized (Ta-neigh-yo?), Tomas is said with a rising tone like in Spanish "Tomás", and "magiliw"''s "gi" has a long i sound (ma-gee-liw?) The subtitles sometimes don't clarify but one of the things that sets ALAMAT apart is that they all come from different provinces and Philippine ethnicities. They sing in languages other than Tagalog in a lot of their songs such as "Say U Love Me" having Bisaya lines- Alas' native language- and in "kbye", all of them have lines in their own language! The multilingual part 2:28, starts with Gami (green hair) singing in Bisaya in the jeepney and ends with Mo singing in Tagalog. That entire section is in 7 different Philippine languages! Also love how you guys were more distracted by R-Ji's short shorts than the coconut husks lmao Since the "kbye" and "Gayuma" credits were already mentioned, fun fact: that little laugh at the end of "Aswang" is Alas, he does it during live performances but he sometimes makes the other members (Taneo) do it for shits and giggles Hope you'll check out Kasmala, Day and Night, Dayang, and Walang Hanggan next!
With the former members, The green-haired guy in "kbye" is Gami, he used to be one of the main vocalists but left due to his mental health. He's actually kept in touch with ALAMAT over the years and is set to debut soon in an up and coming boy group called "Xerenade" The rapper with purple hair is Valfer, he left due to creative differences and right now he's a solo artist under a different label The guy in the blue suit is Kin, he's been pretty incognito. No idea what he's up to nowadays
Gayuma is love potion in English. I don't know about other countries' love potions but in the Philippines, when a person is under the influence of a gayuma, their mind does not make sense. An average-looking person will look very beautiful/handsome in their eyes. They don't see the bad personalities of the one they are enchanted with even though the bad personality is obviously showing. Aswang is a Filipino mythological creature and an umbrella term for monsters that eat human flesh and/or insides. Most of them are active at night and their favorite food is fetuses. Yup, the nearly-born child in a pregnant woman's stomach. They are described to have big wings and long tongues, that stretch, which they use to sneakily feed on a human through a roof's hole while the humans sleep. Most of the Aswangs depicted in Filipino movies are women. That's why the woman in the music video has a long tongue. Most of the famous Aswangs are Manananggal, Wakwak, and Tiktik. The song has a double meaning as you can see. It can be wholesome or naughty depending on how you want to interpret the lyrics. BTW, Magiliw is pronounced with the stress on the 2nd syllable.
Sadly, we have already listened to Mana by SB19 (i think we mentioned it in one of our other alamt vids), but thank you for the comment🤗 Do u have any other song suggestions??- Jenae
