    I have to say for Caleb, i love how cognizant you are of Ayla’s feelings and making sure not to make things about you.
    BUT this is about you too, it’s totally ok to share your feelings and fears as well. It’s important to share your perspective also ❤️
    You both did so well!’

    When my daughter was born, I sent a message to our sperm donor saying “She’s so beautiful. Thank you.” And I think only people who’ve experienced the beauty of this gift can understand the level of gratitude we have for receiving a gift that makes our dreams come true!
    I work in postpartum and it sounds like everything was very intense and scary. That’s a lot of blood. It happened to one of my patients recently too and the husband nearly fainted and he wasn’t even in the room at the time. You’re both so brave and you made it through the hard parts and from now on it’s going to be amazing! I’m so glad you made it through.

    Modern medicine today is something to be grateful for never ashamed for. I think your hard labor was a sign and you took the right one to go in to the hospital motherly intuition is something you just have in you. You didn't know why at that time but your instincts told you to go in. It truly was a blessing you did. That is nothing to joke around about. Glad you are OK and having that beautiful baby girl.

      I had the same experience at my homebirth and I did survive! But of course, having an epidural in this situation helps a ton. My story was very painful but much less scary, as my midwife was managing the situation singlehandedly with no fuss at all. It happens, the important thing is everybody is well in the end.

    • @kristiworld
      @kristiworld 5 лет назад +15

      @@EvijaGruzna you'll never know what turns your labour could take so it is always wiser to be in hospital.

    • @EvijaGruzna
      @EvijaGruzna 5 лет назад +7

      @@kristiworld I totally agree that labour goes its own way, but at homebirth you are always closely watched by your midwife, if in slightest doubt, she will always reach for medical help. What I personally dont like about hospitals and doctors is that they make it seem like its their credit and you are dependent on them and "saved" by them. Sometimes you are!! But women can do truly amazing things. That is my personal opinion, everybody is so different. Everybodys story is unique and worthy.

      She couldn't have received the blood transfusions at home. It's not possible for Aylas situation to have been treated at home.xx

      @tuerkisblaukirschrot-5488 5 лет назад +9

      @@EvijaGruzna In germany where I live a doctor isn't allowed to do a birth without a midwife next to him. But a midwife is allowed to do it without a doctor, because the midwifes are the ones who are extra trained for it. So they are also able to take care of a homebirth and know when its time to go to a hospital. It's important to trust in them.

God is so great at aligning the steps so perfectly in order for certain people to meet and lessons to be learned but most people to be loved. You’ll forever have those moments with the vlog. Much love to you all. Ayla I’m so happy you’re OK.

    Caleb I want to give you a shout out... you’re just a wonderful, kind and incredible person. I never have seen a more gentle sweet kinder person/ husband. You remind me of my brother in law Larry C. ( my oldest sisters husband). They are a dynamic couple. Anyway you deserve a shout out. Just for how supportive, caring, giving and loving person. It’s a wonderful thing to see. I know you’re loving Nova....taking care of your sweet wife. I’m just so happy for you both. Thank you for sharing the lovely life you have. Ayala please rest and get better. God bless you and your family.

      I honestly have watched it through every single vlog. Since I became a family subscriber.! I can’t wait to watch for the newest vlog. I prayed for you both and now including Nova. I am happily married now, though was a single parent until 2012. My 2 lovely children are grown and I’m a grandma to beautiful Isabella Louise who turns 1 on May 27th. The reason I had to mention you....I for years yearned for a loving kind husband and I thankfully waited. Had I not had a huge role model Larry C( brother/in law) make sure I never settled for less. I just admire how much you do love Ayala and cared for her. You bring joy by me seeing how special you love her /Nova too. I’m appreciate the vlogs. Good example to share. That’s all I have the upmost respect for you. I pray for your family and thank you thank you Amen

I have to admit I’m enjoying these more raw videos where everything seems really in the moment and is very telling of what birth and newborn life is really like. I remember all too well the puffy stage and the pure exhaustion..... it’s really refreshing to see honest to god true footage of what that is like to go through and that it is still beautiful and incredible in its own way! She is amazing! Congratulations again! I’m so glad that you have your sweet little baby in your arms. I’m sorry that things got so scary. Take time to process and grieve the plan that didn’t happen if you need to. A lot of us have been there, and it’s a lot to deal with all at once. But I’m so glad Caleb is so supportive, and you’re doing better.

    Congratulations to you both Nova is so precious! I hope you recover well Ayla, i also haemorrhaged and took a long time to feel myself again. It was all so upsetting as i wasnt able to bond with my baby as soon as i would have liked as i felt so ill. So just take your time and take all the help you are offered. Well done nursing, its the best thing ever. My wee boy is 6 months now and ebf although weaning now. Enjoy this time with your Beautiful family. We went through ivf too but no matter what now i have my wee boy it makes everything so worth it x

    I’m so happy you were in a place where you could get the IMMEDIATE care you needed! Don’t get me wrong, I love birth center/home-births, too.
    I love how you’re making the choice to separate your labor/birth from your immediate postpartum. Just another way you’re a warrior.

    Good for you for knowing when you needed relief. There is no reason to labor without pain relief especially an epideral. I had 8 babies my 3rd was my one and only csection he was very very very sick. I had 5 vbac after my csection. I had all natural labor but I did have an epideral while 30 weeks pregnant for a kidney stone. Congratulations Nova is a beautiful baby with a beautiful name. She is definitely an extra extra cute baby. She has perfect cheeks!
