I'm leaning toward the ignition module as well. The little black box by the distributor is a ignition condenser. I wouldn't bypass it. I bet more fuses are blown as well.
I think you'll get it running for the guy. I would think it's hard to bill out for a job like that. So much head scratching and troubleshooting involved.
Any updates on this truck? Mine cranks but won’t start, new cap and rotor, new icm, new plugs n wires, new ignitor, new carb solenoids, checked timing. Gets fuel, spark, just won’t fire up.
I have a Subaru. On mine a solenoid shorted out on carburetor and blows the fuse for the ignition. Unplugged solenoid put in new fuse and started right up.
I'm at a total loss myself with mine. Won't start. It was starting and it'll run for maybe five seconds at most and then die. Now I get nothing and just keeps cranking but not starting. I have spark, and fuel. Is so many different vacuum lines, it's a cruel joke. Lol

I ordered a new ignition condeser. Is that the proper place for the ignition condenser?
@@USMiniTrucks It's a little hard to tell from the video but yes it looks like the proper spot.
First thing I would check is real estate somewhere warmer to work on it :)
That's funny.
Thanks for sharing, I like trouble shooting videos.

Does the fuel pump pressurize the tank? make sure the tank is air tight no leaks
Ya, the sending unit for the fuel gauge is loose. Leaking fuel.

Yes, that is common enough, I've seen several of those on the subaru's. We sell the solenoids if you ever wanted to replace it. www.USMiniTrucks.com

I’m having the same at the moment, did you ever get your one sorted?
Same issues! I had a bad feeling when I volunteer to work on the Acty. And now, I’m chasing 😢
