If you and Rabbi Mizrachi are so sure of yourselves than invite Rabbi Manis to a debate (with Rabbi Kachlon) I am 100% sure that he would accept. I feel that you guys are scared of the thought and therefore create all types of "reasons" why a debate is useless...your strong opinions show an obvious lack of understanding in basic Chasidus
Shalom... The way Rabbi Friedman talks is clear and simple. He speaks to the society he lives in. I started to follow him in 2020, when I didn't know any other Rabbi. Think we should value every person/teacher/scholar within the century and the society he lives in. Without Chabad I would have not known anything about Chassidut.
There has always been opposition to Hasidism, and it's always ugly when a rabbi goes against another rabbi, don't let that take you away from the tzaddik Rabbi Friedman.. the world needs Hasidism
@@hanna319 Nothing wrong with chassidus. There's a LOT wrong with someone who twists the Torah into a pretzel shape. And gets away with it due to his "costume".
@@hanna319 OK genius. Name me just one other rabbi who agrees that you can drive your wife to the beach on Shabbos, or who condones homosexuality, or says it's OK for Jewish women to dress provocatively outside the house, or that there's no such thing as gehennom?? And the list goes on.
Rabbi Friedman is not only a talmid chacham but also a wonderful human being who literally gives people life and causes them to love Hashem with a passion. I have a family member who grew up in the typical frum world and he barely learned and did mitzvos... until he started learning with Rabbi Friedman. Hashem should bless him and give him strength to keep spreading his message.
@@sapphyx26 You clearly didn't understand what he said there. He said that a person who was molested did nothing wrong; in other words, they shouldn't feel guilty. They have more guilt for missing al hamichya! Rabbi Friedman is one of the most amazing humans I've ever heard and then been able to meet. He helps survivors of abuse far more than you can imagine.
@@SeekingToServe No Yiddele, I DID understand what he meant. He is still incorrect according to Torah. To falsely compare the aveira of rape to missing al hamichya is laughably stupid. HaShem knows this also! For helping survivors as you say, it is beyond ridiculous he will say that in yeshivah "most" students are molested. And yes, we have proof he said that. His judgment is coming soon enough, regardless of whatever "good" he has brought.
@@sapphyx26 Yuck. It so sad that some of you are so... vile. And no, you didn't understand. He was talking to the survivor, not the rapist. For the rapist, the averah is horrific, but for the survivor who is often overwhelmed by guilt, there is NO averah. It's not their fault. And that was the point: You should feel more guilty if you miss a nuch bracha than over the fact that you were violated. It's simply not YOU who should feel guilty. It's the other party. And yes, most kids in the world get molested. It's a sad truth. There are many sick people the world over.
People like you make people run away from religión. You should follow more closely to Friedman and hopefuly you’ll gain a better understanding of that you’ve stidied and what for did you studied it.

@Finn Lapp well, the Torah does not say that the earth is a globe, does it imply that it is flat? People need answers that make sense in their generation and that in my opinion is what Rav Manis is trying to do. Why would a Higher Being explains to us, four thousand years ago in details the origin of the universe, no one would have understood and even today, if we knew we probably would try to experiment and maybe end up destroying everything. So G-d is who He is and the only blasphemy is when telling people that killing in the name of G-d is holy. My opinion.

I once held the same opinion about Rabbi Froedman's talk on G_d needing us. But I found, it was a misunderstanding on my part to assume, he was teaching people to have no respect to G_d. On the contrary, of the hundreds of lectures I've listened to, and books(of Rabbi Friedman), I've read, everything he says attributes highest honor to the Master of the Universe. He has some interesting ways of putting things into perspective, but I can see why he'd be misunderstood.

Especially if your son is a MONSTER? Please reconsider. He’s a charlatan genius. He’s fooled millions of people. It’s sad
Rabbi manis Friedman is a proper legendary scholar of the Torah praise hashem and a humble man so stop scoffing that's a sin simple as that and the Torah must spread to the four corners of the earth 🌎
Well, a guy that is so entitled to proudly reiterates over and over abt "my black list" and abt who he puts on it sadly does not have the slightest clue of who else in history was proudly issuing "black list" or not to have certain "types" of people around. We as Jews had been, and still are, on many "black lists" and therefore should be more aware, careful, wise and far sighted.
So Rabbi’s are slandering at each other now? Since when did you all start acting like kids? We come to all of you for not just wisdom and for advice and seeing you all act this way is absolutely disrespectful. Did “love your fellow Jew” not mean anything anymore? One Rabbi has a different view than mine so I get to call him a heretic? Seriously?
As I recall from my reading , Hasidism has not always been accepted, especially at it's onset back a few centuries. I love Rabbi Manis messages and his personal perspective. To compare him to Santa Claus ( who was eerily reminiscent of the Idol where children were immolated ) is a far stretch 🤔 of the imagination. Rabbi Manis is a Mystic Man who makes many people think ... I can't think of anything he said that was contrary to the Commandments. He is a person that has insight and personal charm that comands respect and is endearing .His topics and his style engender the Fear of Hashem in me ,it's like his words are mysteriously tailored for me . LIKE a wise compassate Uncle ( I'm Noachide ) he is stern to remind me to strive to be holy and eschew my wicked impulse. I know he must be gauging many reactions through his interactions. Whatever flaws he may present to some in style or interpretation are necessary to make us think . 🤔 IT IS GOOD TO KNOW . He has many things to say and he can say them without the need/ use of words. Have you heard him read from TANYA ? ... Be Blessed. ...Thank you for your viewpoints.
You spoke well, disregard the comments that don’t appreciate what you said. I am also a rabbi, and Rabbi Friedman’s ideas may be criticized which may have some validity, I didn’t find it to be heretical
Had you actually read the Tanya, you would have seen just how strict his opinion is on shmiras Shabbos. He would NEVER have condoned driving your wife to the beach on Shabbos. And it's precisely BECAUSE Santa has such a way with words that too many people are sucked in to his whacky, twisted opinions.
If your are serious about your religious criticism of a rabbi ( whoever this rabbi is) then this criticism should be an opportunity for an enlightening debate not for slander and calling peope names. This slander is wrong.
There’s no time to debate heretics. Who does that? That would suggest they actually have anything legitimate to say which Manis clearly does not have. Manis invented his own religion which has nothing to do with Torah observance. He’s a reform dressed as a Chabad chassid. That’s it.

Rabbi Friedman is brilliant. He knows how to talk to and relate to people from every spectrum of society. It's hard to accept differences in traditional religious thinking. All religions struggle with this. I think that your hatred for him interferes with your willingness to recognize his value. That's human nature.
I will just quote here from Sefer HaYashar, First Gate. I recommend reading the entire gate (and the entire book). The First Gate - The Secret of Creation of the World And after it has been clarified that the world was not created out of need, we say that it was created for a great purpose: the service of the Creator, may He be blessed. Just as a king is not called a "king" until he has a people, as it is said, "In the multitude of people is the king’s honor," similarly, the Creator is not called "Creator" until He has a creation, and He is not called "God" until He has a people, as it is said, "I will be your God, and you shall be My people." Although the title of divinity does not lack anything due to the absence of humanity, nor is it increased by their presence, yet with the creation of the world, it became fitting to call the Creator "God." The analogy is that someone who can strike may do so, but he is not called a "striker" until he has someone to strike. If there is no one to strike, this does not reduce his power to strike, but with a struck person, he is appropriately called a "striker." Similarly, the Creator did not lack any power before the world was created, but with the creation of the world, His completeness was expressed. This is the reason for which the world was created. Thus, we understand and realize that the creation of the world completes the title of divinity.
I agree. So angry. It's personal. He has lost his composure. I think Manis Friedman is approachable and acts as a great liaison with others around the world. Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi calling him Santa Claus is obnoxious and full of anger and frustration. . attempting to smear the Rabbi unjustly. Rabbi Friedman has motivated me to want to convert after reading for months.
@@GeorgeBrooks22 what are you saying? Rabbi Mannis didn’t convince him, he literally Said he’s been READING Rabbi Manis’s material, which means he did it on his own right because of the works of Rabbi Manis Friedman.
I have heard Rabbi Manis and I would say, that he makes judaism more popular to all world, as many christians and people from other religions hearing his teaching and his videos really help them, so they begun to love more jews and judaism. Maybe really there is the some points to make more clear - so it would be interesting to make a online dialog together.
I dont see why Christians should ' love jews more' as you say. Sounds to me like most real practicing Jews hate Christians, can barely tolerate them. In a true Jewish nation, the Christians would be the least tolerated. I guess there would be a goy ghetto.
I could give my children chocolate for dinner every night and they would love me for that. But would that be healthy for them? Would that make me a good father?
The following answer finishes this debate once and for all: Whatever reasons G-d has unto himself, we're not allowed to speculate. And whatever those reasons are beyond his desire to be Chessed, we SHOULD NOT consider it within our human understanding. If you want context, please read Psalms 50. Please look it up for yourself. The secrets of the Master Architect the King of the Universe, belongs to himself and no one else... Unless you think you're more pious than King David, you better back up and know your place! It clearly says in plain text that anyone can read that even if G-d was hungry or thirsty, he would not tell you! What is the reason? Because what ever G-d has as a secret to himself, is part of his glory שְׁכִינָה Šḥīnā, G-d will not share his glory (needs) with another. Is a mere mortal human being going to strip G-d naked to see what's underneath. There is a reason why it's an abomination for a father to see their son naked or their son to see their father naked, and it extends beyond the physical into the metaphysical world. I'll tell you how disgusting it is for people to speculate on what G-d needs... It's like a son trying to draw a picture of their father naked or imagining what their fathers penis looks like or imagining what their father's sexual needs are. It is an immodest act of degradation for any mere mortal human being to speculate what God's needs are. Are there needs or does G-d have needs, is there skin below your father's clothing, you want to take a look... Such filth and vile of immodesty is disgusting. And there is a boiling pit of feces waiting for you if that's the direction you want to go... JCpenny is waiting for you there. If you have found yourself speculating on what G-d needs because of assumed leadership roles of certain people such as Santa Claus, now it's your time to repent!
We have a saying in Islam when discussing our scholars: "We know the man by the religion, not the religion by the man". Seems to fit here as well. I think Rabbi Mizrachi nailed it when he said pride is the reason people fall into heresy. In Islam we define pride as looking down on people and denying the truth when the truth is made manifest (explained clearly with proofs and evidence). And we also say that the most dangerous person is the scholar who is a heretic (especially one with a big beard) because such a person will be taken seriously by the common people and could mislead many.
I dont know what Rabbi Manis did but not nice to talk like this about him, to much gossip and judgement 😔 people are changing, rabbi Manis can any time change for the good, but you broke all his life buy this videos, and the reactions of so many people that he really helped them change for the good, how they feel what they think, not nice this videos...
It's not that American Jews are stupid, easily lured or anything like that - this is called cultural differences/backgrounds, or even shock of cultures. Such ideas of R. Friedman would never find echoes in the Middle East, he speaks to his public, though - similarly, your combativeness as a rabbi, which is what's to be expected from a rabbi anywhere in Israel (otherwise he'll be misunderstood before a highly exigent and aggressive public who will also highly reward the ones who are genuine and speak the crystal-clear truth) - which is also the spirit of the scholars of the talmud - might disturb the american liberal spirit of "live and let live", while the new-age hassidic tolerant, everlasting unconditional loving approach - and only small rewards or respect - sounds like sweet exile - Call it "Babylon scholars versus Jerusalem scholars" poking on one another. Jerusalem will have the last word ultimately, since this is where Torah stems from.
@@sarameiragootblatt1819txs for answering / taking the comment in account and 4 Ur time as well - please note Moshiah is supposed to wage wars according to the rambam - note also the pirke avot praise Aharon for seeking the peaceful path and of reconciliation, and even summons the reader to be like him - while Moshe the great leader on the other hand, has been all the opposite, he showed no tolerance for the Egyptian, korah, for the golden calf producers or for Og or Sihon - I tend to think common Jews should be like Aharon, while great leaders like Moshe. I understand the rabbis of the Talmud were very harsh on one another when defending their views, even condemning certain people to have no place in the world to come. So as for a briefing - it sounds that we should follow the teachings of ahavat Israel as you said, while it is ok when the leaders would be harsh on one another, since all of them are honestly struggling for the truth. The rabbi can give a response if he finds it relevant. Ultimately, there are definitely many differences between the approach of an israelis and american Rabbis. Take the cosher switch for example, which has never been even imagined in Israel, or the fact that the reform movement is almost insignificant there. Anyway, waiting for your new insights on the mater - cheers!
Rabbi Meir Kahane said that for an observant Jew (especially living outside Eretz Yisrael), it is impossible to not be influenced to some extent by the prevailing "culture" there. Separation from the influence of the social norms is only a temporary and not an ultimate solution to this problem. I agree with you that, no, the American Jews are not stupid. However, I believe (as I think you do) that many of the lectures by Rabbi Manis Friedman appeal to these Jews, whether or not they are aware of the non-Torah content of his philosophical wanderings from Torah True principles or the persistent pressure of secular society. I could be mistaken here, but I have a "gut feeling" that in Rabbi Manis Friedman, we are viewing a man who possesses an enormous ego while pretending not to have one. Also, Korach, in spite of his "religiosity", also had this problem of ego and unfortunately many were led astray by him also. In re-reading my comment here, I notice that I employed the word "also" three times in a single sentence! That can't be recommended proper English grammar. Then I recall that it was told to me that the first Hebrew letter (Aleph), combined with the middle letter (Mem) and the final letter (Tav) spell out 'EMET" or truth. I also used the word "also" at the beginning, middle and end of that sentence and unconsciously. Since there are no "coincidences", could this be a sign from HaShem that my "gut feeling" is correct? Or that I've also fallen under the same misguided notion that my ego and free thinking (American and Rabbi Manis Friedman style) has affected me also? Bruno, although your comment was from 3 months ago, I hope you are conscious of any replies you get here. Please feel free to criticize or illuminate me on what you think. This by a Ben Noach officially since 2013. Shalom.
He’s right for to say that God has needs is to say he’s human or equal to his creation only a creation has needs because a creation being created is not self sustaining the creator is self sustaining Therefore needing nothing or no one , one can say that God wants a relationship with human creation which God clearly states in his Tenak and what he wants of his creation to behave like through his laws which a reflection of which his s own character is like father wants out of his child but that’s it God’s existence is not dependent upon our wanting him or needing him but ours is so it is the creation that is dependent upon it creator not the other way around I believe this the best way to look at this topics equation

@@arjeeprasad8428 It is told about Abraham, our father, who discovered God and developed his entire monotheistic system already at the age of 3. And it is told about Rebekah who, at the age of 3, was sent to draw water from the well and met Abraham's servant, Eliezer. The story continues with her conversation with Eliezer and *her* decision to leave her home against the clear wishes of her family, in order to marry Abraham's son, Isaac. And everything that is told about her later, it is evident that she was very mature compared to her young age, and this was probably not unique at that time, since Abraham our father was like that. However, it is said that Isaac and Rebekah only consummated their marriage when Rebekah was 13. They waited until she was ready. In conclusion, Rebekah became destined for Isaac at the age of 3 (by her sole decision) and the marriage was consummated after she was ready (got her period) at the age of 13. Yosef mizrachi and Yaron Reuven are two of the most dangerous people claiming to be rabbis. These individuals have been Torah observant for a decade or so and were never exposed to normal Jewish life outside their little bubble of hatred. What they preach is a parody of Catholicism at best and any connection to Torah is an absolute coincidence.

fabu 10us Many people would send email asking about your sta claus that is why Rabbi Mizrachi had to address the issues and I am glad he did. He is a Holy man.
@Finn Lapp of course! sta claus is apikurso. He teaches that Hashem NEEDS US. He twists the ideology of Judaism. I have tried to listen to him few years ago and he sounded like a Xtian or Messianic.
@Finn Lapp Why don't you listen to his lectures available on the internet and decide for yourself. I know his book is also being submitted for review in Israel where the reviewer is saying that it was full of heresy. Better yet read his book too.
Delusional is a compliment ! He is the my favorite person to watch after work when I want to listen to nonsense, when the Kardashians arent around What a joke !
No he can't, because then his slanderous lies would fall apart. Yosef Mizrachi is jealous of Rabbi Manis Friedman's success and popularity, Clown Yosef Mizrachi didn't quite understand the moral of the story of Cain and Abel. That is why he didn't learn from Cain's mistake. He is making the same mistake that Cain made.

Right. The same guy that compares being raped to missing an al hamichya. Right. . . .

There’s no time to debate heretics. Who does that? That would suggest they actually have anything legitimate to say which Manis clearly does not have. Manis invented his own religion which has nothing to do with Torah observance. He’s a reform dressed as a Chabad chassid. That’s it.

I will just quote here from Sefer HaYashar, First Gate. I recommend reading the entire gate (and the entire book).
The First Gate - The Secret of Creation of the World
And after it has been clarified that the world was not created out of need, we say that it was created for a great purpose: the service of the Creator, may He be blessed. Just as a king is not called a "king" until he has a people, as it is said, "In the multitude of people is the king’s honor," similarly, the Creator is not called "Creator" until He has a creation, and He is not called "God" until He has a people, as it is said, "I will be your God, and you shall be My people."
Although the title of divinity does not lack anything due to the absence of humanity, nor is it increased by their presence, yet with the creation of the world, it became fitting to call the Creator "God." The analogy is that someone who can strike may do so, but he is not called a "striker" until he has someone to strike. If there is no one to strike, this does not reduce his power to strike, but with a struck person, he is appropriately called a "striker."
Similarly, the Creator did not lack any power before the world was created, but with the creation of the world, His completeness was expressed. This is the reason for which the world was created. Thus, we understand and realize that the creation of the world completes the title of divinity.
I've lost all the little respect I had left for rabbi mizrachi

The following answer finishes this debate once and for all:
Whatever reasons G-d has unto himself, we're not allowed to speculate.

Stupid has to be called out.
Shalom.

This criticism of Rabbi Manis Friedman from another Rabbi sounds like sour🍋 🍇 grapes (petty jealousy) to me.
He’s right for to say that God has needs is to say he’s human or equal to his creation only a creation has needs because a creation being created is not self sustaining the creator is self sustaining
Therefore needing nothing or no one , one can say that God wants a relationship with human creation which God clearly states in his Tenak and what he wants of his creation to behave like through his laws which a reflection of which his s own character is like father wants out of his child but that’s it God’s existence is not dependent upon our wanting him or needing him but ours is so it is the creation that is dependent upon it creator not the other way around I believe this the best way to look at this topics equation
Calling yourself ignorant was the wisest thing that came out of your mouth.

Rabbi this is excellent news, that the moshiach is finally here.

Jews should not fight among each other...I became a Noahide thanks to Mizrachi but Ive asked an Ultra ortodox Jew about Mizrachi and he warned me that Mizrachi was not a good Rabbi. I am confused I love Mizrachi my Rav 😢 Can someone explain why is Mizrachi a danger to Judaism?
He isn't. But I don't believe he's a rav, meaning somebody who can guide you halachically.
Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi repeated it again a few days ago.
Rabbi Mizrahi is spot on.

G-d doesn't lack for anything. Is that what Friedman said?
So I can interpret the Torah any way I like snd it's fine? One generation and judeaism will be extinct.
Please a Muslim told me that Isaac married Rebekah when she was 3 yrs old. Is it true?
Are you Jewish?
@@hanna319 No unfortunately I am not.
I hope I answered your question. btw, there's no shame of being non-Jew, it's not something you had a choice about..

Like he is judging others like he is king? Rabbi Friedman is a awesome man. Stop being so strict .
Sounds to me like its Friedman who is like the catholic. They have completely twisted christianity into paganism just like Friedman.

Disagree with someone, fine. but to call him names and degrade? Immature, for sure not what god wants from u.
Dear Rabbi. Where are the Rabbis who Denounce ALL Unnecessary Jewish And Non-Jewish Abortions, Including in Israel, with the same level of energy with which you feel compelled to denounce Rabbi Friedman...💥👑🚼🖖💥
The Rav denounces abortion all the time in his shiurim. That topic is covered frequently so I’m not sure why you think he doesn’t speak about it.
Rabbi Reuven has a movie called Tikkun HaBrit, which clearly denounces abortion.
I like the way you wrote your comment, Desr Rabbi, as if you are going to get a response from him
Rabbi Mir. Clearly is against abortion. He speaks of it often.
