I like when you all get together as family and do family things on a relaxation tip. I loved the boat rides, especially the holiday one. I like when you guys do things in your yard, go shopping, storybook times, and one of my favorites was watching the children learn to swim with the skills of whales and porpoises. There’s a few things worth considering as I reflect on your comment: 1. ‘She’ didn’t get pregnant on her own! It takes two! 2. Over the years watching this family they have developed and matured in their own very unique way. 3. The love she shows EVERY child is the same. I’ve been offered many different job opportunities but working in a corporate job just doesn’t feel right at the moment. I don’t really have an interest in helping companies built online platforms or surveys based on ad performance such as in Google of Facebook. I really loved working for the cdc because my skills were used to solve real world health problems and I could focus my projects towards groups of people like women or African Americans or the homeless. However that work was still from afar. My focus right now is to shift to a place where I’m using those social and mathematical skills I gained while obtaining my PhD to help others on a personal level. For now that looks as simple as working on creating budgets and finance tools geared towards our community. One of the biggest disparities African American women face is in their healthcare. Which is why I choose to interview and pick my own personal midwife! But to do that you must be able to almost filling out of pocket (although many insurances fully reimburse you). To do that you must take control of your finances. One of the biggest barriers to access to good healthcare and staying health is MONEY. Not how much money you have necessary but how one decides to spend their finances. As we know generationally African American people have been generationally affected by wealth through slavery. I believe that it’s not only a earthly thing but a spiritual stronghold on our communities. I’m standing to break that mindset in the spirit and teaching healthy money habits in the natural. So I’m working to towards helping setting ppl free of financial bondage the enemy has put over us. And by the enemy I mean Satan.

It led me on a journey of seeking a financial consultant (who is a black woman by the way). I booked a session for this month and im so excited to embark on this journey of developing financial resilience and freedom. I was surprised to learn that her services are free because I didnt know many people out here offer this support. My finances were starting to give me anxiety. The black community really needs more financial literacy resources. Im really proud of the work you do, Alena. I look upto you a lot. Good luck on the next journey of your career. 1. ‘She’ didn’t get pregnant on her own! It takes two!
2. You are entitled to your opinion as we all are, but as viewers we only see a brief snapshot of their lives. Over the years watching this family they have developed and matured in their own very unique way.
3. The love she shows EVERY child is the same. You might think they’re too many, but Alena was brought up in a large extended family

Alena's craving for beans is the healthiest craving I've heard yet. It very interesting to see cravings vary from one expectant mother to another.
I craved cucumbers with salt and oranges for months it was the only thing I ate on my lunch breaks at work lol everybody at work was so shocked I was craving healthy foods lol

I’ve been offered many different job opportunities but working in a corporate job just doesn’t feel right at the moment. I don’t really have an interest in helping companies built online platforms or surveys based on ad performance such as in Google of Facebook. I really loved working for the cdc because my skills were used to solve real world health problems and I could focus my projects towards groups of people like women or African Americans or the homeless. However that work was still from afar. My focus right now is to shift to a place where I’m using those social and mathematical skills I gained while obtaining my PhD to help others on a personal level. For now that looks as simple as working on creating budgets and finance tools geared towards our community. One of the biggest disparities African American women face is in their healthcare. Which is why I choose to interview and pick my own personal midwife! But to do that you must be able to almost filling out of pocket (although many insurances fully reimburse you). To do that you must take control of your finances. One of the biggest barriers to access to good healthcare and staying health is MONEY. Not how much money you have necessary but how one decides to spend their finances. As we know generationally African American people have been generationally affected by wealth through slavery. I believe that it’s not only a earthly thing but a spiritual stronghold on our communities. I’m standing to break that mindset in the spirit and teaching healthy money habits in the natural. So I’m working to towards helping setting ppl free of financial bondage the enemy has put over us. And by the enemy I mean Satan.

It led me on a journey of seeking a financial consultant (who is a black woman by the way). I booked a session for this month and im so excited to embark on this journey of developing financial resilience and freedom. I was surprised to learn that her services are free because I didnt know many people out here offer this support. My finances were starting to give me anxiety. The black community really needs more financial literacy resources. Im really proud of the work you do, Alena. I look upto you a lot. Good luck on the next journey of your career. I pray you remain inspired and find the most appropriate outlets to do what you love. Congratulations on your pregnancy 👏 😍
