WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT WATCHING INTERVIEWS LIKE THESE... Is that I know 99% of you watched CHiPs between the ages of 5 and 12 (between 1977 to 1983 CHiPs originally ran, then later went into syndication) so I always feel like I've stumbled upon a room filled with friends I've never met, who were all doing exactly what I was doing when I was 5 to 11 year's old. Some of you may even have lived on the east coast like me, near Pennsylvania, same time zone, and we watched the show at the same time and same moment. And here we all are 44 years later. Watching an interview with two guy's on a show you'd think normally we'd have forgotten about after several decades. But we're that much alike just as we were back then. We sought this out, and here we are. Wish I could meet each and every one of you. We're so different I'm sure, but also so much alike. Thanks for reading my overly long love note to my childhood and to my friends I've never met. Love you all fam.👍

Well... I'm actually used to nonsense from ding bats. I'm one of the rational Celtic Thunder fans and catch a lot of crap for NOT obsessing and stalking them. Heaven forbid one shows respect for people they admire, right?
I remember watching CHiPS on one of the local channels when I was a kid. Parents couldn't afford cable, but I'd watch it on TV when I came home from school. I saw it on cable when I became an adult, and except for the ridiculous, unrealistic parts with the cars up on two wheels and the unrealistic pileups it was a good show. I recall Robert Pine, who also played as Zach Morris's Father on "Saved By The Bell" which at the time was supposed to be titled "Good Morning Miss Bliss, and Hailey Mills was the star of the show. This show made me want to be a police officer. When I was a kid, it was all about having a car with red and blue lights.
It's great seeing them together, it's the first time that I've seen this video! I watched them when I was a young girl , probably 7 or 8 years old. They're both nice people. Thanks for sharing this video.👍

I watched Chips as a kid around 1986, I was about 8yrs old then in Lagos, Nigeria. I just loved the fitted and crisp police uniform on them while riding the bike so smoothly and perfect. Erik Estrada, to me was the most perfect gentleman in police uniform then.
My dad show me chips when i was a kid and i was love this serie right away. And a funny things, i watch chips with the french voices. I love this serie ;)

To this very day whenever I hear the name California the highways from Chips comes to my mind. Classic show in every sense.
