thank you for this! very helpful.
would be good to know some sample answers
Yes! Good idea, we posted this recently on our insta and tiktok! Do you have any specific questions you'd like us to focus on?
Question: what are ways I can answer questions to PM's if I haven't worked with a traditional PM? I've worked with people that are similar, but one feedback I got from interviews is the lack experience with a tradition PM. Especially applying for senior product design decisions.
Thanks
Hey Andre, the way I approached this prior to having experience is to talk about how you would work with a product manager and base that in knowledge of how agile teams work and pull examples from past work you've done with similar roles. If you can demonstrate an understanding of the dynamic and your own ability to collaborate you should hit the mark. 😊
@@thecraftio thank you!
How would junior product designers navigate questions that are related to experience if they don’t have any/much in a traditional setting?
Good question! You can still talk about how you would go about something even if you don't have direct experience. For this I recommend doing your research and talking to other PMs, Designers, Engineers about how they would go about x,y,z. Don't unnecessarily bring attention to the fact that you haven't applied it.
