    I'm a subscriber in TX. I just want all your followers to know that Bluetti has no technical support. You can only deal with tech issues via email, typically with personnel in China. It is very cumbersome. So far, I've not been able to solve my problem and I greatly regret my purchase. Possibly worse is they appear to have dedicated personnel to scrub any negative reviews, comments or problems that show up online. Very sinister to me. As this is a hugely popular, and well-known company, I've been caught off guard by how successfully they have prevented criticism. I won't spend another dime on their products.

    I have the Bluetti 200Max with the dc charging enhancer and Bluetti is giving me the b300 battery expansion pack to do a review. I have had the Bluetti 200Max since it’s inception and I highly recommend it.

      With the D050S, you can also get another 500w of solar, for a total solar charging capability of 1400W. Not to mention that with the charging enhancer, you can draw power from two separate solar arrays, which the AC200L CANNOT DO. For instance, with an AC200 MAX, you can draw 900W from a portable panel array and the other 500W from a vehicle rooftop solar array via the D050S. I think Bluetti severely dropped the ball by not providing a charging enhancer port for the AC200L. I'm sticking to my AC200 MAX.

    Good video, when Bluetti started their sale a few weeks ago (which is on going until April 14 according tho their website) I originally bought the AC200 Max, but then canceled the order and purchased the AC200L for $100 more. It does’nt have a wireless charge feature but it does have a fast charge option that allows you to manipulate the charge speed via the Bluetti app (by increasing or decreasing the amperage).
    I really like that I have the ability to change the speed at which the unit charges. For example, in my sticks and bricks house if I don’t want to charge at full speed because of the other items I have on the circuit I am able to set a lower input amount. When I’m out and about such as at a campground and have a dedicated circuit I can then ramp it up and charge very quickly.
    Over all it’s a great battery system that has the ability to serve many purposes including adding expansion batteries.

    Thanks again, Bob, for this excellent review. I wanted a Bluetti power station so I read all the specs. As an almost 80 year old female traveling in a minivan, I knew weight would be the deciding factor. I got the AC70 at 22 pounds. I love it! I also got the 120 watt folding solar panel. I can get 110 watts from it for fast charging. I use this setup mainly for my BougeRV 30 qt fridge. I also have 3 other power stations that are about 300 watt hours each that I use for phone, fans, lights, computer, etc. I have a 100 watt glass solar panel and a 50 watt glass solar panel to charge these. I can put them on my roof, or just place them on the ground. Of course, I can run my fridge and charge any of my power stations while driving. I love having a mix and match setup. I remember Bob's power class at an RTR many years ago. He said the most important thing is to figure out how to put that energy back into your batteries every day! Words to live by! All respect, Bob.

    I think what Bob left out was the weight of the AC240. 72 POUNDS! That is a problem for most people. I have the Max and the AC 180. Got both on sale and are both great. I can see getting the AC240 for larger loads or for living in a cabin but the Max and 180 are better for nomads.

    I have the AC200L which is supposed to be faster charging than the 200Max. The new AC240 is touted as IP65 waterproof and dust proof, but that's only if you're not using it. Once you expose the plugs and you have your RV, appliances or devices plugged in and it begins to rain, water can drip into the plugs and you'd have a short. I'm a Bluetti fan and also have the EB3A and the AC180 and a couple of PV200S's. I'm not impressed with the AC240. For this price range if I had the choice, I'd still choose the AC200L. Most especially if they ever get refurbished units on their web-site which they have great prices on, but never seem to have any in stock. Happy Trails Bob. Thanks for the videos. Maybe I'll meet you someday.

    Given the limited/low solar amp input, the AC200MAX is geared towards those with smaller/portable solar arrays. For those with larger solar arrays, there are much better choices, for almost the same cost.

  • @dhdoctors
    @dhdoctors 6 месяцев назад

    Thanks. Imho Max looks good, but the external ac charging brick is a huge deal breaker. The 240 solar input is only 60V 21A, so basically 2 panels - it's going to be very hard to reach 1200W. The new 200L has everything except the 12V 30A output for an RV fuse box. Tough decision, but AC240+B210 gets my vote.

    Has anyone ever considered using the battery system from a used EV car in their Rv, skoolie, box truck, or van?
    When in town, you could top off your batteries at the EV charging stations that are starting to pop up.
    Even an rechargeable EV battery on a small utility trailer could provide back-up electric power.

    Question: Is a 2200W or 2400W power supply necessary for a single van dweller with simple needs and limited funds.Would a 1500W or 1800W generator with 200W or 260W solar panel(s) meet basic needs and power an external battery? Question: My understanding is newer solar generators have the MPPT controller built in and I thought an inverter as well, am I wrong? The inverter is used for running the battery correct? Thanks I am long time listener/viewer and much appreciate your excellent work.
    Question: Are you still participating in the Homes On Wheels Alliance Program and appreciate any info available.

    I had a tooth yanked out this AM (medicade dentist). I hate the dentist as much as the devil as the result of living a life with horrible teeth. It took a 20 something tiny Indian gal 60 to 80 minutes to yank, jab, break and twist a tiny freaking side tooth out that then required stitches?? Wasn't even a molar?? WTF was the only thing I could think of during the process and I wanted to put her thru a meat grinder after.
