Very interesting tutorial! Because when I paint stars digitally, I usually use the brush tool font shaped like a twinkling star.

What is the alternative when you are not using a pen and the pressure option don´t change the brush?

Have you tried using the pen tool? ruclips.net/video/YlhZrNBHH_o/видео.html This is an older (Photoshop specific) tutorial, but I would assume should still work.

I used shortcuts, but you can use the menu if it's easier for you. On PC: ctrl-a (selects the entire canvas), ctrl-c (copy), ctrl-n (new file/document), ctrl-v (paste)

easyest way to add glow is add outer glow in layer style? saves a lot of time.
