I’m ashamed I should speak and understand French! my MawMaw ( Louisiana French Grandmother) it was her first language sadly she never taught it to us (Louisiana French) probably closer to old world medieval French, I’m checking this band out because of the Scottish young lady’s metal channel, this is some beautiful epic work, glad to hear it in French which makes it sound even more interesting and beautiful brutal and medieval style , I’m going to check out all their music and order this

I don't know if I like this album, tbh. The melodic black metal moments are rousing, and I love the treatment of the theme and the cinematic scale of it all. The chugging, -core-ish, almost breakdown-related sections seem really out of place though, especially in combination with the hyper-moderne production values and sterile guitar tones.
