I wish they just made us put our age in so that there could be a censored version of the game for the kids and an uncensored version for everyone else; also even tho the angel one was kinda exaggerated for a cute dress up game (*cough cough*) it was still so cool in a way, I still hope we're going to get the uncensored version even tho it's highly unlikely
It's weird for our version to get the censored version because the original reason the suit was censored was because of China's social views on tattoos (tattoos = gang member.) but here in the States there's no such prejudice. So why did they censor it?
I think the reason is because they had the CN servers files directly exported, and because the CN version was the uncensored suit that was the one global stuck with, rather than having to dig for the uncensored version and make the necessary arrangements to debut it. For them, it's just easier to use the CN server's uncensored suits. The only exception was the Sweet Spell outfit, because our server ended up getting it first before the CN one made the censorship.
Yeah but before play the game for the first time, they ask if your 16+ So.... just saying that if they agree then they can have the uncesored version (sorry for my english but i'm italian)
I mean it's way more story based than a lot of dress up games and little kids don't really care much about story or reading. If a child isn't old enough to appreciate the full beauty of the game then I think the game isn't meant for them.

I still much prefer the bloody uncensored version of the elf suit it just looks so unique. I feel like if they remove the chains, blood and the cage it won't be that special anymore, it will just be like any other blonde elf/fairy suit we already have. I want a suit that looks dramatic and kinda horrorish cus I can't come up w any suit that I like that does the same thing as good. And I have never seen any kids younger than 12 play love nikki, I have alot of friends who plays and the majority of us are 18-21. I'm not saying anyone under the age of 18 shouldn't play it just that it shouldn't be seen as a kids game. Love nikki from what I have seen is actually pretty dark hence the lore and stories in the game. If kids wanna play a dress up game there are PLENTY of other great child friendly games on googleplay. I can understand why they would censor certain suits in the chinese server. They obviously has to follow the law. However, I do think they should release the uncensored version of the Godess suit (and other/future suits) here in the western server, just like they released the uncensored version of Sweet Spell. Even if the game is rated 4+ here (it should be rated Teens or something like anywhere else tbf) the laws are a lot less strict over here, and the West tends to not care about showing skin. I would even say that showing skin, such as your thighs, is the norm in most western cultures, although I'm aware it depends on the country/person. Also, like you mentioned, it doesn't make sense why we have a ton of other suits showing cleavage and thighs and then they want to censor other suits that are similar. Brocade Jade and that new Yokai suit are examples that look a lot like the Godess suit. And I'm pretty sure even the chinese servers have suits that are more risqué than the Godess suit. Like, literally, the posed version of the forest suit from the same damn event doesn't seem to be censored and it has even more cleavage than the Godess suit + shows her entire upper thigh and hip...

i understand why the Panda suit was censored. The Blood and the chain can represent the fact that they need to fight to escape death ( at the time when there didn't have a lot of bamboo forests ) from my point of view. Plus, the panda is a cultural animal and they are protected.

Yea i get you. I love all uncensored ones, and i admit only the fairy one should be censored as its well... too much for a kids game ( even tho the original one is SPICY >:D ). But China has strict laws for everything (for example all make up is tested on animals if it is intending to be sold in China).

Yea I think the censorship is just annoying on the new Goddess suit we're getting and the Valentine's one. The goddess looks pretty both ways tbh, and like you said you probably wouldn't notice the censorship if you didn't see the original. But The tattoo That's the only way you can see it The default pose won't show it, and in my opinion the unique poses are there to add a dynamic range of creativity AND show off all parts of the suit in a different way And yes...that includes sexy thigh tattoos It's not like the game hasn't put out "mature/inappropriate" poses before. If they're that worried about showing thigh, then get rid of all the shorts/skirts/dresses and the bathing suits Like if you're gunna censor, go all the way don't be picking and choosing. If a sexy goddess can't show a thigh then neither can default Nikki in a bikini lmao I mean bathing suits are literally just special underwear for water anyways I get kids play the game....But like most of them are probably girls afraid of getting cooties from boys. The Sweet Spell was so awesome! I loved it and I was hoping to save for it! The pose was cool and the outfit was much better than the new one! I don't like the censored one :( bring it back Love Nikki! Almost all suits look better then... The one you agreed with they made it all neat and tidy... I also agree, it looks very ummm... This is so strange because I live in a more modest society (UAE) than china and I still got the uncensored version. Also for the thighs censored it because wearing something that doesn't cover till your knees, is considered to be too sexy for kids.
Hiiii, while I have no where near enough dias to get Prosperity, I was disappointed to see her censored. Although I understand why people are upset (I know I’d be pissed if they censor the fairy in Blood Moon), but I wonder if the devs still have the original art from when it wasn't censored for some things, or if they need permission or something, because I don’t understand why they would censor things when they are a lot of other provocative things in game. It’s odd that somethings are censored and not others, so maybe they only get the art from the suits that were censored by the time it reaches us, *shrugs* I dunno, I’m lost.
Honestly it sucks for China more; in America, at least we know what the suit what the suit looks like before we get it. Since China is the original server, it means players might have their fave suits switched out for uglier versions after dishing out a ton of diamonds. I actually disagree with the fairy censorship, given some character designs, the "barbecue sauce" on some of the event suits, and the cutscene that plays during chapter 15, 7 year olds shouldn't really be playing this regardless. Instead, it really should just get a T rating. Fun fact: The game is rated E in the U.S. and the original, but M in Vietnam.
to each it's own I like the champagne colored chiffon skirt. but I agree the sweet spell looks better uncensored. as for how to solve this how about a setting for it so we can have the best for both demographics. I would love to have a setting for it so I could play on my own or I could put it on when my younger cousin wants to watch me play. I usually let her vote if the theme is an okay one (first one she voted on was candy) for her seeing as she just a first grader. farming stuff is not as interesting to her she just wanna see some cute outfits. she'll vote about 20-30 times so it usually is a quick thing, but it still would be nice to have... in cases of things dealing with a heavier nature.

I think the reason we are getting the censored poses is because miracle nikki has currently those versions. We don't have the censored sweet spell because at the time it came, the chinese server also had it that way. Tho i wish we did get the uncensored versions :( Also, there are theories about why those suits are censored, like the panda could represent china so they changed that to avoid beeing political, or that player who complained about the goddess because they couldnt afford her xD
MAH BABY FLICKERING PISTIL! I like it better censored because I love the pose. I got it for the crying makeup and the makeup looking away. Those kinds of makeups are my favorite because you don't see them often. I don't use the damaged hair version as often, or ever but I love the cages! I only saw the censored version but even I’m like “wow this is.... very sad wtf!” And this is the first time I saw the uncensored version Which can play double meanings for those who see it so yea... You know, their are many games that do this thing where you can play on a 13+ account. They could totally do that with this game. The 12 and under could get just the one version outfit and the 13+ could use either censored or uncensored version and switch them out like those night and day oufits.

the last suit definitely appears to have a different meaning in the uncensored version, the cage makes a LOT more sense and the pose looks a bit less awkward! also in the us app store, this game is rated 4+. FOUR AND UP. i think it's less of a disappointment that some of these were censored and more of a "HOLY COW, HOW DID THEY GET AWAY WITH THAT?!" several characters swear (lightly) in the game, especially orlando in their dream weaver, yet it's still 4+.

That being said, my version of the game has the original Sweet Spell and doesn't have the tortured fairy one, so yay.
I don’t think we’ll have to worry about Sweet Spell being censored, since she was a debut suit for our server. And Hellish Bloom probs won’t be either, since she’s from the Japanese server. And I think the only reason we’re even getting the censored suits is because we’re getting them directly from the Chinese server. Personally, the censored version of the goddess and the panda suit don’t bother me. I even understand why they are censored. But, I’m all for the censored version of the fairy. The uncensored just makes me uncomfortable to look at. Besides, I’m pretty sure you get the cage as a completion prize still. You might even get the blood stains too. I think they’re just not part of the special pose anymore.

Gotta say, for the “broken Fairy” (or whatever) honestly I do understand why it’s censored, but at the same time THAT LOOKS SO AWESOME?!?! If anything get rid of her hands in the air in chains, but keep the blood and pain (wow okay that sounds really wrong) it’s just that the original had so much feeling to it, like a story while the censored feels like the other fairy’s we already have. FYI sweet spell in the Indonesian and english? server is not censored! She still have her anvelope covering her mouth pose. I’ve played in a few different servers and most of them don’t aren’t censored :)
whether your comments are half jokes or not, I agree with you. Censored suits are so much uglier. and not looking right. I don't understand why they need to censor legs and thighs, but they leave big boobs on or blood (like with yokai suit or the previous hell suit with guitarists and ruin recharge suits from that period of time). they are hypocrites I think. and I hope people won't spend anything on these censored suits, maybe that would teach them something, at least here in US/west server.

I'm a 27 year old adult whos dropped (probably in total) thousands of dollars on this game since I've been playing and I think I deserve the uncensored versions of these suits. I doubt seven year old children could afford these suits anyway and if small children are playing then its not really LN's fault or problem.

Okay, this is coming from someone who can testify that they highly censored these outfits. While I don't have every single one of them mentioned, I do have the last one that was shown. Whenever I first bought it, I distinctly remembered her being on her knees praying, in a cage, and had bloody scrapes and bruises on her as a "tattoo." After watching this video, I went to the game, found the outfit, found the cage, but couldn't find the blood tattoo. That pisses me off because I bought it. It feels like they just stole it back from me.

I really want to bring this to attention since I love the uncensored version especially the fairy! They could give us both versions if anything and then just restrict it in the SC if they fear possibly sexual entries! But honestly the devs don't even have a right to fear that since the official ADs that they themselves produce with major sexual themes which really pisses me off. Plus YOU CAN'T ENTER THE GAME IF YOU ARE NOT OVER 16 or say you are! You have to agree to that first so whoever enters this game disregarding that warning is at fault and should be blamed for their actions and not the game. This game is funded by paying adults after all.

I stopped playing Love Nikki this year, because I spent too much money on it and had trouble controlling myself. Before I quit, I earned earned the last suit, the one with the bloody fairy in the cage. In the United States, you got two versions of that outfit, one where she was bloody and battered, with a crying makeup and broken wings, but the BDSM-style pose wasn't given. She was depicted as kneeling inside of the cage, crying and bleeding. The cuts were an accessory that applied like tattoos and other skin effects. The second version was a "restored" pose where she's leaving the cage, no longer bloody with healed wings and an un-tattered dress. That "dual-pose for one outfit" thing was something Nikki had started doing more in the last year or two, and it was nice.

Well I think the pattern here is that suits that started on servers outside Japan like the V-day one and Hellish Bloom will remain uncensored outside CN but if it was censored in CN before it got to other servers it will remain censored on all servers. I'm sad about the Queen and don't understand why her legs were covered when WFSM has the flower suit that also has her legs exposed and that didn't get censored. Is it the tattoo? The Panda one doesn't bother me at all because the changes were so small and don't really affect the suit. For the fairy one I get why it was censored and I wish that we don't get the censored version, but I think we will.

Tbh the second one does need to be covered up a little more. I am not saying that all of her legs should be covered up cuz I love her tattoo but it it pretty revealing for smaller kids. Also the last one is the one that I 100% agree with. It's just a little too much for what it is and I think the dress looks presentable and nice without the blood and the chains.

I read the reason why the panda outfit was changed is I believe because panda’s are like the Chinese main mascot if I explained that right. So I assumed the chains and blood was deemed to much because it was a panda? Hellish Bloom is not changed because the outfit came out in the Japanese server first than we got the outfit. I’m actually curious when the outfit goes to the Chinese server will the outfit get censored their?
I agree with the censorship on the last suit but also I do really like that cage though. Like they should’ve at least kept the bird cage like it kind of reminds me of the one fairy suit that’s trapped in the pearl. (Not sure it was called a pearl or what?)
My take. If you're gonna censor a suit from here on, or if you have a hint that it's gonna need to be censored for whatever reason in the future, then just give us the censored version FIRST without releasing the uncensored photos or releasing them on different servers that way we would have nothing to complain about because what we see is what we get. Although I do agree with the blood moon suit (even though I FUCKING LOVE IT) there are completely stupid ones like the panda that are being censored, while in comparison we just had the yokai event with the BBQ sauce and the blood soaked blade. For being in the USA (speaking on my behalf not on others) I feel like teenagers(13+) who have phones and have access to today's society are already exposed to way more than some tiddies and thighs on a video game. I hear sixth graders cussing and talking mad shit to each other, the same stuff I did in my high school days. I see worse on PG13 TV shows and movies. Since this game is supposed to be PG13+ I don't think we should be catering to anyone younger, therefore I don't really think 95% of these censorships are fair.

It's weird for our version to get the censored version because the original reason the suit was censored was because of China's social views on tattoos (tattoos = gang member.) but here in the States there's no such prejudice. So why did they censor it?

I heard that the last suit from 4 wars was based off an actual chinese deity so they censored her out of respect tho I'm not sure.
I think the reason is because they had the CN servers files directly exported, and because the CN version was the uncensored suit that was the one global stuck with, rather than having to dig for the uncensored version and make the necessary arrangements to debut it. For them, it's just easier to use the CN server's uncensored suits. The only exception was the Sweet Spell outfit, because our server ended up getting it first before the CN one made the censorship.

I still much prefer the bloody uncensored version of the elf suit it just looks so unique. I feel like if they remove the chains, blood and the cage it won't be that special anymore, it will just be like any other blonde elf/fairy suit we already have. I want a suit that looks dramatic and kinda horrorish cus I can't come up w any suit that I like that does the same thing as good. And I have never seen any kids younger than 12 play love nikki, I have alot of friends who plays and the majority of us are 18-21. I can understand why they would censor certain suits in the chinese server. They obviously has to follow the law. However, I do think they should release the uncensored version of the Godess suit (and other/future suits) here in the western server, just like they released the uncensored version of Sweet Spell. Even if the game is rated 4+ here (it should be rated Teens or something like anywhere else tbf) the laws are a lot less strict over here, and the West tends to not care about showing skin. I would even say that showing skin, such as your thighs, is the norm in most western cultures, although I'm aware it depends on the country/person.
Also, like you mentioned, it doesn't make sense why we have a ton of other suits showing cleavage and thighs and then they want to censor other suits that are similar. Brocade Jade and that new Yokai suit are examples that look a lot like the Godess suit. And I'm pretty sure even the chinese servers have suits that are more risqué than the Godess suit. Like, literally, the posed version of the forest suit from the same damn event doesn't seem to be censored and it has even more cleavage than the Godess suit + shows her entire upper thigh and hip...

But China has strict laws for everything (for example all make up is tested on animals if it is intending to be sold in China).

The Sweet Spell was so awesome! I loved it and I was hoping to save for it! The pose was cool and the outfit was much better than the new one! I don't like the censored one :( bring it back Love Nikki! Almost all suits look better then... The one you agreed with they made it all neat and tidy... I also agree, it looks very ummm... This is so strange because I live in a more modest society (UAE) than china and I still got the uncensored version. Also for the thighs censored it because wearing something that doesn't cover till your knees, is considered to be too sexy for kids.

Hiiii, while I have no where near enough dias to get Prosperity, I was disappointed to see her censored. Although I understand why people are upset (I know I’d be pissed if they censor the fairy in Blood Moon), but I wonder if the devs still have the original art from when it wasn't censored for some things, or if they need permission or something, because I don’t understand why they would censor things when they are a lot of other provocative things in game. It’s odd that somethings are censored and not others, so maybe they only get the art from the suits that were censored by the time it reaches us, *shrugs* I dunno, I’m lost.
Honestly it sucks for China more; in America, at least we know what the suit what the suit looks like before we get it. Since China is the original server, it means players might have their fave suits switched out for uglier versions after dishing out a ton of diamonds.
I actually disagree with the fairy censorship, given some character designs, the "barbecue sauce" on some of the event suits, and the cutscene that plays during chapter 15, 7 year olds shouldn't really be playing this regardless. Instead, it really should just get a T rating.

I would love to have a setting for it so I could play on my own or I could put it on when my younger cousin wants to watch me play. I usually let her vote if the theme is an okay one (first one she voted on was candy) for her seeing as she just a first grader. farming stuff is not as interesting to her she just wanna see some cute outfits. she'll vote about 20-30 times so it usually is a quick thing, but it still would be nice to have... in cases of things dealing with a heavier nature.

I think the reason we are getting the censored poses is because miracle nikki has currently those versions. We don't have the censored sweet spell because at the time it came, the chinese server also had it that way. Tho i wish we did get the uncensored versions :(
Also, there are theories about why those suits are censored, like the panda could represent china so they changed that to avoid beeing political, or that player who complained about the goddess because they couldnt afford her xD

You know, their are many games that do this thing where you can play on a 13+ account. They could totally do that with this game. The 12 and under could get just the one version outfit and the 13+ could use either censored or uncensored version and switch them out like those night and day oufits.

I don’t think we’ll have to worry about Sweet Spell being censored, since she was a debut suit for our server. And Hellish Bloom probs won’t be either, since she’s from the Japanese server.
And I think the only reason we’re even getting the censored suits is because we’re getting them directly from the Chinese server. Personally, the censored version of the goddess and the panda suit don’t bother me. I even understand why they are censored. But, I’m all for the censored version of the fairy. The uncensored just makes me uncomfortable to look at. Besides, I’m pretty sure you get the cage as a completion prize still. You might even get the blood stains too. I think they’re just not part of the special pose anymore.

I agree why they censored the fairy suit, but I’d feel it’s better to change the special pose and remove most or all of the blood and not get rid of the chains or cage would’ve been a better choice. Most of these suits are pretty cool either way to me.
Gotta say, for the “broken Fairy” (or whatever) honestly I do understand why it’s censored, but at the same time THAT LOOKS SO AWESOME?!?! If anything get rid of her hands in the air in chains, but keep the blood and pain (wow okay that sounds really wrong) it’s just that the original had so much feeling to it, like a story while the censored feels like the other fairy’s we already have. Plus the broken wings feel so out of placed. I love good stories and ones that provoke emotion like that are amazing, I wish they didn’t cover it (again, if anything, just put her hands down)

whether your comments are half jokes or not, I agree with you. Censored suits are so much uglier. and not looking right. I don't understand why they need to censor legs and thighs, but they leave big boobs on or blood (like with yokai suit or the previous hell suit with guitarists and ruin recharge suits from that period of time). they are hypocrites I think. and I hope people won't spend anything on these censored suits, maybe that would teach them something, at least here in US/west server.

I'm a 27 year old adult whos dropped (probably in total) thousands of dollars on this game since I've been playing and I think I deserve the uncensored versions of these suits. I doubt seven year old children could afford these suits anyway and if small children are playing then its not really LN's fault or problem.

Okay, this is coming from someone who can testify that they highly censored these outfits. While I don't have every single one of them mentioned, I do have the last one that was shown. Whenever I first bought it, I distinctly remembered her being on her knees praying, in a cage, and had bloody scrapes and bruises on her as a "tattoo." After watching this video, I went to the game, found the outfit, found the cage, but couldn't find the blood tattoo. That pisses me off because I bought it. It feels like they just stole it back from me.
Sweet Spell is one of my favorite suits in the game. I did buy it. If they censor it I'm going to be really upset.

Sonia Yes, I noticed the icons. However I was told by the Love Nikki Official Group that they contacted the devs and the devs said they werent going to censor it. I'm holding onto that little piece of hope. :')

They could give us both versions if anything and then just restrict it in the SC if they fear possibly sexual entries! But honestly the devs don't even have a right to fear that since the official ADs that they themselves produce with major sexual themes which really pisses me off.
Plus YOU CAN'T ENTER THE GAME IF YOU ARE NOT OVER 16 or say you are! You have to agree to that first so whoever enters this game disregarding that warning is at fault and should be blamed for their actions and not the game. This game is funded by paying adults after all.

I stopped playing Love Nikki this year, because I spent too much money on it and had trouble controlling myself. Before I quit, I earned earned the last suit, the one with the bloody fairy in the cage. In the United States, you got two versions of that outfit, one where she was bloody and battered, with a crying makeup and broken wings, but the BDSM-style pose wasn't given. She was depicted as kneeling inside of the cage, crying and bleeding. The cuts were an accessory that applied like tattoos and other skin effects. The second version was a "restored" pose where she's leaving the cage, no longer bloody with healed wings and an un-tattered dress. That "dual-pose for one outfit" thing was something Nikki had started doing more in the last year or two, and it was nice.
Unpopular opinion: Eh, I like the censored version better seems more queenly and less of a concubine.

Well I think the pattern here is that suits that started on servers outside Japan like the V-day one and Hellish Bloom will remain uncensored outside CN but if it was censored in CN before it got to other servers it will remain censored on all servers. I'm sad about the Queen and don't understand why her legs were covered when WFSM has the flower suit that also has her legs exposed and that didn't get censored. Is it the tattoo? The Panda one doesn't bother me at all because the changes were so small and don't really affect the suit. For the fairy one I get why it was censored and I wish that we don't get the censored version, but I think we will.

Tbh the second one does need to be covered up a little more. I am not saying that all of her legs should be covered up cuz I love her tattoo but it it pretty revealing for smaller kids.
Also the last one is the one that I 100% agree with. It's just a little too much for what it is and I think the dress looks presentable and nice without the blood and the chains.

Well I don’t really mind but I know some people do and it’s unfair for them since they got the suits thinking it would be uncensored. Also covering the tattoo just made the suit look worse. Some censoring made the suits look worse but yeah I’m v0 so it’s not like I can get the suits anyways smh.

I read the reason why the panda outfit was changed is I believe because panda’s are like the Chinese main mascot if I explained that right. So I assumed the chains and blood was deemed to much because it was a panda?
Hellish Bloom is not changed because the outfit came out in the Japanese server first than we got the outfit. I’m actually curious when the outfit goes to the Chinese server will the outfit get censored their?
I agree with the censorship on the last suit but also I do really like that cage though. Like they should’ve at least kept the bird cage like it kind of reminds me of the one fairy suit that’s trapped in the pearl. (Not sure it was called a pearl or what?)
My take. If you're gonna censor a suit from here on, or if you have a hint that it's gonna need to be censored for whatever reason in the future, then just give us the censored version FIRST without releasing the uncensored photos or releasing them on different servers that way we would have nothing to complain about because what we see is what we get. Although I do agree with the blood moon suit (even though I FUCKING LOVE IT) there are completely stupid ones like the panda that are being censored, while in comparison we just had the yokai event with the BBQ sauce and the blood soaked blade.
For being in the USA (speaking on my behalf not on others) I feel like teenagers(13+) who have phones and have access to today's society are already exposed to way more than some tiddies and thighs on a video game. I hear sixth graders cussing and talking mad shit to each other, the same stuff I did in my high school days. I see worse on PG13 TV shows and movies. Since this game is supposed to be PG13+ I don't think we should be catering to anyone younger, therefore I don't really think 95% of these censorships are fair.
