2013 BMW 335i Vibrant Exhaust - 2 Setups

First setup had a bit of drone, it was 2 bullet style vibrant resonators, upower tips. Second setup was the same but I added an 18” long 3” i/o vibrant resonator. Lessened the drone a little bit

Doesn't sound bad, but those resonators are not designed to lower the volume of your exhaust, as much as to lower the pitch.
The longer resonator just sounds muddier, but not much different. I would consider sticking with the 12" one.
I would keep them and add Helmholtz chambers/resonators to properly abate the drone, but retain the sporty exhaust note you have created.

I have an skoda octavia rs 245 (2018). I have change the downpipe too a 3" downpipe with 200 cell sportcat in it. And a custom made catback exhaust 3" that I have made. The sound is amazing! I still have the oem 1st muffler on. But I have drone in my car as it is atm. I thinking about to have one vibrant on each side at the exhaust. And inxthe Middle a muffler with a valve. Whould this get the drone away?

It was while driving the car too.. much less drone. It was unbearable on the first one, had to drive in sport mode. Second one still had quite a bit but better

I believe they were vibrant 1792 for the smaller and 17950 for the larger. I would recommend 1141s instead for the 2 at the rear

Why does the 2nd setup have the crackles and the first doesn't? Did you add a tune before the 2nd setup?

You can change the tune whenever. One was a crackle tune one wasn’t. Both setups were on a tune
