Maybe I just don't have the same options in my Theme (Twenty Sixteen) but I don't see how you got the original Menu's into the Navigation Panel or the Top of the Page. I would like to get multiple menus on top as well and I just don't think that my Theme gives me that option. Am I right or am I wrong? Help!!
1) I got the menu there by going to "appearance->menus" Click "Create a New Menu" give it a name and add the pages you want there, and the select the location you want it to go in. For example, you might want it displayed in the "Primary Menu" location. Then "Save Menu". 2) For adding a secondary menu at the top, the plugin "WP Notification Bars" works great for this. Thanks for watching!
Hi Tony, Can you have separate nav menus on a group of pages. I want to have a main home page menu with menu items: About us, Programmes, News, Vacancies, Members, Contact. If you click on 'Members' it take tou to a new landing page for that section with a different top level menu. Is the possible with WordPress? Rgds Nigel
i have two homepage (dont ask me why long story) one has a different menu. So the header menu is differnet in the second homepage. basically my question is how can i have two primary menu which each are assigned to different pages?
@@sssem2862 are you trying to create 2 pages with the main menu in different locations? you should be able to change that in the "customize --> menus" section.
i am having 6 pages that i want to add in a menu, but in the most recent section it is showing only four pages, and in view all section it shows all 6 pages but i am only able to add 4 pages in the menu which is there in the most recent section...plz help
Thanks Tony! One question. If I want to add multiple menus but I would like both in different locations within the header/menu bar (two pages in the right block and two in the left), how would I do that? I've been messing with the customize and headers, but can't get both to actually show. Any help would be great!
Hi, This may be an extremely easy fix, however its got my going in circles. I am trying to create and menu with a page that allows a series of options in that category. For example, Kitchen is the main page on the menu bar. I want to be able to click on Kitchen which should open a page with other sub categories with images on that page. I want to be able to click on any of those to open a full product page of all the items listed under that category. So - Kitchen is on the main menu = list of other pages, like (mugs/mats/pots/pans/plastic wear). Then want to be able to click on any of these, for example click on image of a mug to be taken to a full range of mugs only. Appreciate some direction. Thanks

Hey, nice video. I'm not sure if you could help me, my header appeared 2 identical menus, how to remove one? thanks
check if you have multiple menus setup in the "Menus" section. then check their locations in the "customize-->menus" section

hi i want to achieve this how did u create 2 homepage, some people told me that is impossible
go to your "customize --> menus" section to see how it's currently setup and in which locations.

it depends on how your theme is setup. view the menus location details in your current theme in the "customize-->menus" section.
i made a video for you, it's basically a part 2: ruclips.net/video/RYl-nuOvT9Y/видео.html
Thank you. Is it possible to add the second menu to the primary menu rather than the side bar?
yes my broski
you can do this in the "customize --> menus" section
do you mean add the 2nd menu to the primary menu location? this video might help: ruclips.net/video/RYl-nuOvT9Y/видео.html
What if i want second menu on left side with its submenu? Can we position it?
yes, depending on the locations setup in your theme. view those details in the "customize-->menus" section

it sounds like you'll need a lot of menus on different pages. i made a video just for this here: ruclips.net/video/RYl-nuOvT9Y/видео.html
How to make different menu on each page?
+Xtremly Or How to make 2 menu on top(header) MENU1 for all page(the same). MENU2 different on all page?
+Xtremly did you ever figure this out? I have the same question. See my comment above.
there are multiple plugins to achieve this. i think one is called Conditional Menus
i made a video for you to show how to do it here: ruclips.net/video/RYl-nuOvT9Y/видео.html
