      @@abek1862 She was the only royal to not cover the chariot she rode in because she felt sorry for the people who had been standing for hours in the rain waiting for them to pass - everyone else had put their cover on but she didn't & she got wet in the process. A true queen

      My people. I was born and raised in samoa. My genealogy has a lot of ties to tonga through marriage.

    Born and raised in Samoa, but my late Grandmother would always talk about her days being raised by her Tongan grandmother in Samoa. Every time I hear the Tongan language or music, gives me a sense of pride that my late Grandmother, once held.

    Proud Maori who married a Tongan, our babies are hula - haka 😉
    From the first time I heard the Tongan choir- to my wife's family singing...
    Like this song - the voices stir something in my wairua- like waiata and Haka do...
    She is raised in Australia- and I always encourage her to learn more about her motherland as i cant teach them this part of their whakapapa- I truly love this song and the Tongan culture...

    Im from PNG, ethnic group from Central Province in my Country called Motu. Our culture is quite similar but we are uniquely diffrent. My family and I adore listening to Pasifika Music but I grew up listening to Tongan music 🇹🇴(Tongan Oldies and Iongis Brothers) listening to your songs and chants even though I don't understand. But I have this feeling of connection. Big appreciation and love from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬.

    I'm from Papua New Guinea (PNG), the people called Motu in the Central Province of PNG 🇵🇬
    Our culture is quite similar to the Pacific Islanders, especially Tongans.
    Thus, hearing these beautiful and melodious music from Tonga gives me a feeling of "connecting" to that culture and the people.
    This remixed version is out of this world, so creatively produced and mastered that makes me have chills all over my body when hearing it..

    I’m so proud of my Family, Cousins, Uncles and Auntie Tongan 🇹🇴 Culture. I have Tonga in my blood and my Mom and Dad both come from Tonga. I’m Australian but I have lots of love and respect for Tonga 🇹🇴 and their culture, The people, Tonga National Anthem, Everything including Tonga Rugby League and Rugby Union team.     Its awesome because queen salote definitely made her mark, I saw this video of queen elizabeth and king Charles watching old videos and there's one of queen salote standing next to queen elizabeth and she says oh thats queen salote of tonga look how tall she was she towered over papa (prince phillip) lol
