  • On the 2nd floor of Nishijin Textile Center, Hiroko Fujiwara, a traditional craftsman of Nishijin weaving, is weaving Nishijin weaving with a jacquard hand loom.
It's been 45 years since this hall was opened and I've been working in this place for the second year.
While listening to the story, I took a picture of the weaving.

would be nice to have longer clips of her just weaving, instead of constantly changing the angle. She's clearly very skilled and I would love to just watch her work

I don’t see any young people do this kind of complicated job, only experts old people do.
I cannot sit too long doing this, I will get sore back. Her seat is not comfortable enough, but she has no problem. You are amazing great grandma.

Станок шедевр инженерный! какого года исполнения?
А мастерицы искусные, работающие на старинном оборудовании, уходят в прошлое.
    Спасибо большое!
