Nick Ferrari speaks to the Chief Executive of the Community Security Trust, Mark Gardner, and hears from callers as they react to Michael Gove's expected comments accusing protesters of not doing enough to stop the surge in anti-Semitism during a speech on Tuesday.
The Communities Secretary will condemn the rise of anti-Semitism. He’s set to say that while many protesters are "thoughtful, gentle, compassionate people", they are "side by side with those who are promoting hate".
It comes as some critics have voiced concern about the police handling of the demonstrations and the effect they have on the UK's Jewish community.

The UN asked a Jewish organisation to define anti-semitism. That included nonsense like criticism of Isreal is anti-Semitic.

The Oxford dictionary of Semitic relates to or denotes a family of languages that includes Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian, constituting the main subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic family and to the peoples who speak Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic.

As far as the chants by pro-palestine protesters go, it calls for the freedom of Palestinians between those borders of the Jordan river and the Mediterranean sea. Also worth noting that Hamas even removed that part from their charter in 2017 or 2019 (a little bit fuzzy on what year exactly).
Let's look at what the Likud party's founding charter says.
"The right of the Jewish people to the land of Israel is eternal and indisputable and is linked with the right to security and peace; therefore, Judea and Samaria will not be handed to any foreign administration; between the Sea and the Jordan there will only be Israeli sovereignty."
In case that's a bit too confusing for you, the Likud party, of which Netanyahu is a member, declares that only Israel will have sovereignty over the region.
Tell me again how Brian was wrong in pointing out the hypocrisy when one is allowed and the other is condemned. The one that is allowed objectively calls for an implicit elimination, or at best assimilation, of the Palestinians in the region.

The marches are peaceful and many Jews who have a conscience have joined them. Interesting that the ant-march speaker at the start calls Hamas a resistance movement. Yes, obviously. And resistance against occupation is enshrined in international law.
As he said, these demonstrations NEVER call for peace. Ever. Organisers legitimately want Israel gone, which is obviously not okay. I mean, to anyone with a moral compass. I'm aware some protesters legitimately don't think it's a problem wanting to eliminate an entire state but they're broken inside.

Who is this Numpty?
If the chant were "On the River and the Sea" you could make an argument, but the 2 separate Palestinian areas do not reach from the River Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea. It was first used by the PLO (1960s) in reference to wanting an Arab state over all of Mandatory Palestine (the modern day area covering Israel, Gaza and the West Bank), so to say it is not genocidal is just showing a complete lack of historical knowledge.
The Likuds part co-opted it in the late 1970's to be "between the sea and the Jordan there will be only Israeli sovereignty". Again, not appropriate, but 2 wrongs to not make a right, but the idea Hamas run Gaza is whiter than white is absurd when it is explicit in their charter to not only wipe out Jews in Israel, but globally.
This is appalling.

Please explain to me what antisemitic attacks has happened in the UK. I haven't heard of anything or jewish people being attacked. I'm south african and we are strongly involved in the ICJ case and ilbehind Palestinian people and I have not heard of any attacks here either except pro Israeli supporters who attacked demonstrators here, some did get arrested at least. I'm trying to find this evidence of antisemism that's exploding but for the life of me I only hear about it l, I haven't seen any.
