I'm sure these buffs happened ages ago but it still gives me pause when I see a 2/3 dark peddler and a 1/4 acolyte of pain. It feels overpowered even tho I've seen chump as a demon hunter play a 5/4 on turn 2.
It's kinda funny cause they buffed Dark Peddler *right after* they print Suspicious Peddler and the only miserable argument to justify Suspicious Peddler whole existence was that at least has better stats than Dark Peddler.
Pleading to my fellow Chump fans: please, help me find a particular video where he started the intro with "This deck is almost as sick as I am". It was somewhere between 1 and 2 years ago. Can't remember any details, except that his voice sounded drained (since he was actually sick, that's the joke).
The problem is the Caverns of Time and buffed cards make a lot of the old cards irrelevant so it's almost entirely Dragons vs Dragons. That being said I do like the style, just wished the buffs/new cards didn't happen tbh. Buffs couldve been cool to make previously trash cards useable but instead they make cards INSANE, go way overboard. And do it sparingly so only certain cards get the treatment, basically reducing the card pool dramatically.

This is my favorite format. Don't need a big collection, don't need expensive cards, there's no overtuned and overvalued garbage. It argues the case for a Hearthstone Classic or some kind of reset.
"Without big flashy legendaries, this isn't a super-content worth format" I would disagree personally. This is also great, it's just different. More of a back and forth slug-fest than the heavy dependance on who draws the right legendary at the right time. I love all the Chump content!
This format legit makes me nostalgic for the days when Turn 4 Hero Power Pass was an acceptable line of play sometimes. The power curve of the whole game has gone into the stratosphere.
I guess the first games warrior deck is popular on twist, ive played against the same thing twice now, and both times I barely pulled it out in the end.
With how degenerate standard has become, I'm seriously considering switching over the twist format. Decks like these are one of the reasons why. When was the last time in hearthstone where you could make a budget control deck and have it be good?

I really wanted to like this mode but less than 24 hours in it was already 80% Dragon Warrior and the other 20% is the exact same dragon shell only with 5 different class cards. Netdeckers ruin everything once again.

I reckon twist should just have a bunch of these formats in a list. Pauper, some sort of Commander-like long-game-big-deck format... You know, keep the game fresh.
What a refreshing way to play hearthstone this is, you don't have to fear dying from 23HP when your opponent has 2 cards and 4 mana

This twist seems really nice - no insane combos and it feels more like classic HS

The issue with Classic is it was solved pretty quickly and not a lot of people played it

I modified this deck a bit by adding in Twin Tyrants and Shroom Brewers. I’ve gotten a 10 win streak with it.

Yes Dragon "control" Warrior is by far the most popular deck in Twist, shit is very powerful.

It is sadly dominated by Dragon decks, but the speed of the format seems perfect, if a bit on the slower side.

That's always the case, some people have fun by winning the game some by playing meme decks but the majority is the first type sadly
