- Here's the fastest Mario in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury using dash panels! I modded the new Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury on the Nintendo Switch, editing Dash Panels to test how fast they, and making them as fast as possible, increasing the speed, and seeing how fast we can get our professional speedrunner Mario!
Dash panels have some interesting glitches in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, and editing the speed of dash panels to get a faster Mario makes this look like a funny animated Mario speedrun! Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury gameplay is fantastic, there are hilarious moments in the game, there's great music, and the theme of Bowser's Fury/ Lake Lapcat is fantastic! The next thing we need is a faster Mario using dash panels! :D

The dash panels, on the Wii U version, made you go ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.
But now that the characters are way faster on the Switch version, the dash panels barely make a difference.
(They DO stil make you go faster for a bit, but now it goes almost unnoticed.)

I know im late but i have some ideas for the custom dash panels:
-For a troll, one that makes you go very slow and there is gombas around you, and you cant escape the gombas
- for another troll, you go across tons of normal dash panels and then a random one make you zoom in outer space
- still a troll, a dash panel that freezes you (the 0 speed ones with a ceiling really close to the ground so you cant move with your jumps) and theres lava rising and youll die to it
I have some other, but ill let you find some yourself, these are not MY mods.

Add a checkpoint with each troll, so that they die over and over.
Edit the amount of cat shines you need to beat the game and hide the trolls under the shines so that they get baited into the trap. And cover the troll up. for example, go to Mount magmeow and don't put the trolls *on* mount magmeow but create super visible non-secret entrances to the rooms which will be *inside* mount magmeow.
add a trap so that people don't think that it's *too good to be true* and isn't suspicious Via

Step 1: Ground pound the dash panel with the lucky cat power up, make sure you run to the diagonal ramp
Step 2: Ground pound again after a second

I just love how you experiment with the game and push the limits! I just love the potential for creativity in level making.

Maybe you could make a custom level when all of the Dash panels are so fast that they shoot you into a Death Zone and there is this huge level that you have to get to the end without touching a dash panel and it could get harder and harder.
it's a cool idea from a theme purpose but you could achieve the same result by just putting down lava

Since the Dash Panels were indirectly nerfed in the Switch port, you had to buff them... maybe a little too much!
My favorite one was the 1 speed with a longer timer one, seeing Mario run on the water like that reminded me a lot of Luigi in Mario 64 DS.

It would be interesting to see a level that has mostly dash panels. It could be a fun challenge where you have to control your speed through the level. For a level like Super Bell Hill, you could remove the clear pipe that takes you to the checkpoint so you’d have to use the dash panels to make the jump.

i have a dash panel idea. what if you make a puzzle course where dash panels act as keys. you give them a certain speed which can be used to jump over certain gaps and a massive timer

A way to enforce a “you can only move while jumping” challenge would be a 0 speed panel with a super long timer.

I actually have a video idea! Try doing Super Mario 3D world/Bowsers fury corruptions. I don’t know exactly how they do it but I’m pretty sure what they do is delete or swap random files!
I've done some stuff like this in past videos :D

A cool level idea would be to have some dash panels would stop/slow you down while others acted normally. I think it’s be cool as long as the slow ones have some sort of indication that they slow you down.
The problem is that each Dash Panel is affected at once

Maybe a mod where there’s multiple dash panels grouped together and some have a high speed and some have a low speed and you need to overcome certain obstacles with the certain speeds.
Seeing how dash panels can have different speeds, why didn't Nintendo make use of that for them? Like having alternate versions of them. Like slow panels and are colored blue? Reverse panels to run backwards and are green(which represents nausea, lol). Some have suggested ideas for trampolines, bounce pads and mushroom platforms. I think that be great to see.

Maybe the slow down panels could be blue and purple instead of the default red and yellow dash panels. Players wanting to use them to get away from enemies will be in for a surprise... :D

Suggestion for a level:A level with 1 dash panel that makes you go 2x as fast. There can be different kinds of dash panels in the same level, like ones that cancel your speed (0s on the timer for 1x speed), ones that make you go really fast (2.5x speed), and ones that slow you down (.5 to .8x speed). This may be asking a bit too much though, so sorry if I am. I'm enjoying these videos and I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Suggestions from my kiddo:
Remake Super Bell Hill with only 30 seconds before you die & dash panels that slow you down (but have time you can collect).
Or see if dash panels work on Bowser.
Or have dash panels in a Boo mansion as trolls - some to slow you down when Boos appear, & others tho) to throw you out of the screen at 100,000 speed.
