    Very enjoyable to join you on a drive. Your car seems to change gear a little quicker than mine. I think it may need adjustment.

      I am no expert to be honest, but probably can check on the gearing ratio. Thank you for the observation @Phil Paxton

    Do you find that the noise level in the cabin seems quite high? How is the noise compared to the axia or other budget models? Also, I heard there isn't a spare tyre in the boot? Is it true?

    • @Zinko_
      @Zinko_ 3 года назад +3

      There is a spare tyre under the back, in a special compartiment just like on other cars. the noise level is bigger than on most cars but can be ignored especially if u turn on radio

    • @drivegertodrive6298
      @drivegertodrive6298  3 года назад +2

      Agree with @Zinko. Also, the car is made for city driving so you can anticipate the body is lightweight and most body parts not that sound proof. The noise level is acceptable in opinion relatively to the performance it can provide.

    It's so funny at the beginning of the video i was sure this video was going to be located in UK, Russia or Indonesia, but when I saw the plastic wall for roadworks, I checked yr other vids & it's in Malaysia where I am lol. Why are there so many smart forfour in here compared ti 5he rest of the world? Nice video! From Penang.

      I remember a specific year period where Mercedes really push to Smart ForFour and ForTwo cars, but i think that didn't last that long. Smart cars really unique and rather cheap to run (those days).

      funny enough, some used car shop parked a Smart ForFour just outside my house under my tree for months, I always wonder what model it is until today. I am at Bukit Tengah, Penang mainland

    Reliablity? Tahan or easy to rosak, and difficult to get parts?

    • @drivegertodrive6298
      @drivegertodrive6298  2 года назад +1

      @Azman Yacob - we can still see many on Malaysia roads, sometimes with beat up condition but still running good. So, we believe the car generally tahan and tak cepat rosak.
      Parts wise, if call dealership (MBM), not all center willing to accept, but we think generally any continental-car specialist able to get the parts easily.
      Unless you are the type to look out for 'potong parts' on your own.

    Does it good for a long distance driving?

    • @drivegertodrive6298
      @drivegertodrive6298  3 года назад +2

      @Alex Vostox - in my opinion, it may not be a good long distance option unless you want a low cost trip. The car is 'thin' and thus can be annoyingly noisy when at high speed, subsequently you easily get tired.
      So i will not recommend unless you have no other option.

      @@drivegertodrive6298 I see. Guess that's a reason why it lost its value. Lots of this model advertised Mudah are put into the price range less than MYR 15K. Probably not suited for Kuala Lumpur to Pulau Pinang drive. Thanks for your information.

    Is possible to open the roof?

      ERRORX - no, we don't think this model able to open the roof. Not the one that I drove definitely. Even though the roof lining is soft/fabric, but that's about it.

    Hello, one of my friend want to sell me this car and i would like to know if it’s a good first car for a young driver ? Thank tou

    • @drivegertodrive6298
      @drivegertodrive6298  4 года назад +5

      This is a fun car to drive definitely. if you want to drive an automatic car with manual power feeling, this is a great option.
      Small in size make it very easy with maneuvering and parking in between busy city streets
      Fuel consumption is low, so it is good for the pocket too!
      Another thing is the car is rare, not many people drive it. So it could still be a head-turner for those who see you driving it.
      Little bit on the down side is on the parts. Servicing is easy, any shop could do it. But finding other parts can be a challenge for replacement. However, this might not be true for certain locations.
      Hope this helps.
