Hey by any chance, is it possible to disable the speaker, I find it annoying that it beeps every time I turn it on. My parents sleep early and disturbs them. From the looks of it, it looks soldered on? Am I right?
I don't have the unit in front of me I am going to guess you can't disable this. That beep is a diagnostic code. It will beep multiple times for errors - single time for all good. Long shot - you can plugin some headphones and see if bypasses the on board speaker.
I have an SI AQ01 PLUS which I use mainly on my non smart tv for netflix and YT n some old games. It goes into standby mode with a red power light and does not boot at all even when ai push the power button.
Thanks for the breakdown... I was wandering about the "silent" cooling system on these. I'm surprised there was no fins to increase the surface area. What processor did this unit have? The one I ordered has an i3 7100u.
It appears the idea is to use that large heat pad to transfer the heat to the case top. Hard to tell without tests which way would be better, but this design may be a good one.

I have a CI325 (similar model) and I was able to use the m.2 slot also for boot. I use that for my os and a mech hd in the sata slot for storage. I found the answer for the question.

Hi there! I have this machine and wondering how to do a hardware reset of the BIOS password. There is no jumper that I can see, and I've already tried removing CMOS battery for 10 minutes. Any other idea?!
i came here for the same question...the one he extarcted appears to be sata M+B Key ssd...if you stop the video at 9:14 you see the slot ( he unfortunately did not show it properly) but as I see it, there is only a single notch in the slot, which means the slot should support sata as well as nvme based ssds
I just got one for the same price but I am intending using it for a music table to trigger midi sounds to go into loopers. So for that it is fine but its super low on HD space and not very powerful but its decent for browsing the internet and stuff.

I removed the yellow mantle and contacts and isotaped a new cr2032 battery to it. works perfect.
Don't hold the device up close. Your camera can't focus so near and it is annoying to loose focus all the time and shaky video.

So someone could run a nvme and a separate ssd also? And if so will it operate a mechanical hdd in that slot?

On the PCB is a "Clear CMOS" Button, you could try that :)

it's a m2 2242 (42 mm / 4.2 cm) any disk wich fit should be correct ( nvme not tested )

I don't think you will see a big difference. Probably makes more sense to do that on desktop CPU's you can overclock and run much hotter.

If you are good with electric you might can change it but i would not recommend it
