So you know about Safer Choice products? The EPA has a list of 2K products that are safer choices than most common brands. All products on their certified Safer Choice list have been tested to be as effective as their stronger chemical counterparts. www.epa.gov/saferchoice
You are so well-spoken and entertaining at the same time! Subscribed on the first video I watched! Excited to learn from you and become a better cleaner.
I enjoyed the live vid the other day, but I couldn’t remember what I wanted to ask you ! 😆Thanks anyway for your wealth of info and good sense of humor 👋😃
Thanks for watching then and now. It's great to have you here. Good news! When you think of your question, you know where to find me. Thanks for hanging out in my little corner of the world. :-)
The Lethal Dose 50 number ( LD50) is useful too. LD50 is the amount, grams per kilogram it takes to kill half of test subjects, usually mice. Gives one an idea about how toxic an ingredient is. That info is available online.
I slipped and fell, injuring my elbow which turned out to be a hairline fracture, while wearing shoe covers. I will never wear shoe covers while cleaning again.
Only buy household and skin care products in your local Organic Health Food Store. Their products are biodegradable and without Petrochemicals. Products for allergy prone skin are usually without essential oils.
They can be yes. The EPA has the Safer Choice certified list with safer choice products that have been tested and proven to be as effective as their more unnatural competitors. www.epa.gov/saferchoice NOTE: Be cautious of the words, as many words are used for marketing purposes and many of them are unregulated. Do you have any recommendations for a disinfectant that kills norovirus that’s also safe on vinyl flooring? If my kid gets sick and misses the bucket, I need to disinfect my new vinyl flooring without ruining it. Thanks!
Hi. For toys that are not stuffed animal types- you can try a diluted solution of dish soap and warm water, then rinsing thoroughly. Or you can use one of the disinfecting sprays that are available now, like this one: amzn.to/43X3Peg (paid link). If you would prefer, you can go to the EPA's Safer Choice website and review their approved cleaning products as well: www.epa.gov/saferchoice/products. I hope this helps. 😊
So I'm going to be cleaning ny grandparents house because my grampa was just diagnosed with blood cancer so i was wondering if you have any tips amd safe cleaning chemicals i can use to actually disinfect the house without making him sick... Much appreciated and thank you in advance🙏
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather's diagnosis. Such cleaning products as vinegar or hydrogen peroxide can help disinfect the house without causing any harm. Also, I have a shelf on Amazon where you can find allergy-free products that will fit your needs: www.amazon.com/shop/angelabrown/list/1KUCJ084YYFN0?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d Wishing you and your family all the best!
When you say metal doors are you talking residential or commercial? Is it a metal door like a garage door that opens with a garage door opener, or a metal door that opens from the garage to your home and is painted? You'll treat the door for the surface type (if the door is painted - you'll clean based on the paint.) Next question is what is the soil you're cleaning? A degreaser like Krud Kutter may work if it's a painted door. amzn.to/3orIxlv

What chemicals actually kill 99.9% of dangerous bacteria such as MRSA, fecal, influenza, pneumonia, etc? 🧫 Some bacteria can survive on towels, razors, athletic equipment, furniture...for hours or even weeks.
????? Wow!! I sort of knew that, but, yet, I didn't. Doesn't make sense, but, I guess I knew that, but, thought if you disinfected it, or wiped it off with disinfectant, it would be gone.
@ProudKansan08. Yes. Unfortunately, many cleaners do not kill the “dangerous bacteria”. I hope she’ll make a video about effective cleaning chemicals for various surfaces.
Hydrogen peroxide can be found in spray bottles, now, and that works pretty well to kill most things. Rubbing alcohol works, too, but will damage painted surfaces and finished wood. I like peroxide because when sunlight hits it, it just turns into water, so very non-toxic. You can also spray with peroxide and them re-spray with straight vinegar for a stronger disinfectant. The reaction of the two is as effective as bleach but less toxic to us. I have cleaned my kitchen counters and bathrooms with all 3 options and have yet to get sick from touching those surfaces. Usually if I catch something it's a couple days after being out around a bunch of people and not keeping my hands clean enough. Also keep in mind there are normal levels of germs to have on household surfaces that won't make you sick.

Wow, thank you!
Hello, I know of an entire product line that is completely non toxic, biodegradable, and work Great! Safe for humans and pets to be around!!
Non-toxic should mean not toxic to humans, animals, aquatic and plant life after the product has been used and washed down one's septic system.
Right? It would be great if it were regulated to mean just that. 👍
Very impressed with your depth of knowledge and your concern for safety. Pretty sure you would be a success at whatever you tried.
