    Apple really did their best to make this replacement as difficult as possible. Earlier models are much simpler.

    Well I messed up the bottom to power but now I know I broke the speaker black ribbon. Thank you, also having problem with the noice cancel it makes weird buzzing noice u think when I change the speaker it will solve it?

    Does anyone know how to stop accidentally pressing the play/pause button. I listen to music at night and I have to sleep on one side or keep rotating the headphones it’s so annoying. I upgraded from the Solo 3 and I regret it

    Help. I have a studio edition beats wireless but when I went to replace the batteries my battery holder didn’t have any springs to hold it in. And I can unscrew it because it has no screw. Have any idea how I should replace the batteries?

    Hi there. I have this exact same model of Beats headphones. They won't charge or turn on. When I connect the charger, there is no light or anything. Is it possible that replacing the battery can fix this? Or are they dead? Great video, btw.

    Um... the reason why there is sealant in there is to keep as much sound out of the speaker chamber as possible. If you remove it you need to reapply some more to get it to function the same way.

      yea i learned this when i accidentally teared it off while trying to replace the ear cup. when i put the new ear cup on the noise cancellation wasn’t working because all the outside sound was coming through into the speaker chamber i had to use hot glue as a sealant to remove the sound that was traveling into the speaker chamber

    I appreciate the video! They need to make laws that require small electronics to have user-replaceable batteries. The headphones are perfectly good, but the battery life is poor. I'm willing to do a lot of repairs, but even this is too invasive for me. I'll toss them in the trash. What a shame. Apple is such a "green" company, yet they send more electronics to landfill for dead batteries.

    hello!!! pls help me i accidently left my beats solo pros opened up a whole school day and now it doesnt wanna reset,turn on, etc sometimes it just blinks white and pink slowely and sometimes it blinks white then red slowly pls help!!!

      Same problem,
      Will changing the battery resolve the blinking light. Won't pair. Tried resetting holding button and volume down. Tried every combination. Let me know if it's a battery issue

    My Beats Solo Pros won’t turn on or charge! Please, I need help! One day they were blinking white and then when I tried to manually resent they were blinking white and red. Now they are dead and won’t even turn on after I left them on a charger overnight.

    Hello i have a pair of beats solo pros and my problem is that i will charge them to 100% and while using the beats the left side will get very hot and the beats ultimately die in under 15 minutes despite having full charge

    The easiest way I have found to remove the glue from the ear pads is to pick off as much as I can and then use 99% alcohol to remove the rest. I have been able to successfully remove all the glue residue.

    Hello do you do repairs? Like can we ship them to you & fix it. My husband gave me some Beats Solo pros the light blue edition for our anniversary and I love them & also they mean so much to me because I started to really progress in my fitness journey. They are still in great condition but I think my sons left them open all day now they don’t want to reset etc. if you do please let me know

      I also have the same issue. Red and white indicates that the battery is degraded to the point where it can't charge. However it could also indicate issues with the wiring in the headband as well. I am hoping mine is a battery issue and will be buying a battery as they are not expensive.

    The Solo Pro is seriously flawed. I bought one that lasted only one year then the led flashed red and white. Sent it to be repaired under warranty, they replaced it instead and the new unit died the same way six months later. What is wrong with it ?

      @@berv9169 Nice ! Did the same on my previous Solo 2 Wireless that thankfully I kept, it still works after 9 years. You're lucky yours still works !
      I bought mine on Amazon just before they discontinued it and I wonder if the battery died because it was stored for a long time...

    I think the manufacture are making devices more complicated to work with so we the consumers take them to their shops and we can’t fix it ourselves. So sad and greedy.
