PASTOR OYAKHILOME REACTS AS FIRE RAZES CHRIST EMBASSY HEADQUARTERS

The Christ Embassy headquarters in the Oregun area of Lagos was destroyed by fire on Sunday morning.
Worshippers reported that the morning service was immediately relocated to Corner Stone, an annex of the church, due to the blaze.
Several worshippers suggested that an electrical spark might have caused the fire.
Personnel from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service were on the scene to extinguish the flames.
Christ Embassy, one of Nigeria’s largest churches, is led by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
In response to the incident, Pastor Oyakhilome expressed the church's determination to rebuild something even better and more significant.
