Thank you. I bought a power supply to upgrade mine, and found it had too many wires lmao. Nothing really matched up, now I know I can’t upgrade this. But I do have extra Ram. Thank you.

You can't put a desktop GPU in this computer, nor can you upgrade the power supply unit. However, you can still add more memory, add a larger hard drive, add a 2.5" SSD, and add a Geforce GTX 1650 in it. Those upgrades will provide enough power for most users.
If you want to play the latest games, you will need to get a full tower and spend about $1,500 to $3,500. You will need a Geforce RTX 3060 to a Geforce RTX 4070.
A small form factor computer will never be as powerful as a regular desktop computer, because of its physical limitations. It was designed to be a power efficient computer for office work.

I have this model and have added a PCIe 2.5 GBe Network Card and PCIe NVME Adapter. Both work very well. My Hard Drive with the OS is a Samsung SSD 500 Gig for fast loading.

The the 16x PCIe slot. Very quick. Haven't had it as the boot drive, not sure if the Bios can select it.

Sorry if you answered this, how many sata power cables come off the psu? Wasn’t sure if I can add a second drive to my parents pc, or if I’ll need clone there current drive to a new one because of limited power wires

The only 3d modeling software I know about is AutoCad. I used AutoCad 2022, and it runs okay on this computer. I tested it on this computer, but I don't use it on this computer. The performance is okay, but does need a more powerful graphics card.
I use AutoCad on my I7-10700K w Geforce RTX 3060 12 GB, I7-4790K w Geforce RTX 3060 12 GB, and my Dell Precision T5500 w Geforce GTX 1070 8 GB.

I think it should work, but if your graphics card doesn't come with a small form factor bracket you will have to get it.
