Thunderstorm near Chorley, Lancs. on 12 May 2024

After quite a warm and humid spell, thunderstorms moved north across Wales and the western half of England on the afternoon and evening of 12 May 2024. This wasn't a particularly potent storm compared to others on that day, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Good one there Scott mate. We've had quite an interesting weekend: Friday night/Saturday was Aurora Borealis' strong visibility, 3-day warmth with temperatures over 23°C, and today's thunderstorm.
