I remember thinking it must have been a Ryza pattern plasma rifle to let off that many shots without overheating. Oh and that it must have an ancient weapon from the Dark Age to be able to use it as a club and still get use from it.
I like this kid of weird. I love how instead of going the easy route of having him be the ruling warlord after defeating the tyrant the author has him return to the starship and the commisar knowing the whole time what he was going to do with his "week off".

@@greg_4201 idk I thought they were interesting and respectable not every guardsmen needs to be like the last chancers, the penal battalions, or the chem dogs. But I have a soft spot for Calvary so Iam pretty bias.
I like to think that someone at GW heard this and thought, "...you know what we oughta bring back"
