for y’all who don’t know what JROTC is, it’s this program that girls and boys can join in high school that is basically a military type program. They teach you life skills and that jazz, while also conditioning you physically. Add more in the comments if i missed stuff.
there's different versions of JROTC base on the 6 military branches of the USA. There a army, Navy, air force, coast guard, Marines, and even a space force JROTC.
There was one kid at my high school who wore fatigues all the time, and was in the JROTC. I don't know if anyone else was. But he was WEIRD, arrogant, and purposely tried to stand out like this. Like I also liked learning about military history and stuff, but he had seriously bad social skills. I felt bad for him. This skit is super accurate.
half the kids in JROTC when I went to high school were either like this OR they were there because their parents forced them, so they could put it on their college or enlistment application. lol. One guy in particular that people called "Pilot" (because he always wore some leather jacket with pilot wings when he wasn't wearing his ROTC uniform) -- it was like he watched Top Gun and decided he had to be like that... but he was terrible at it. haha
I get you. There’s a lot of those kids in my unit but please for the love of god just do what your instructor tells you to do, and put in the work. Be respectful. It’s tiring to have to deal with people who are rude and don’t care about the program.
Crazy how many people don’t know what JROTC is. JROTC stands for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. It is a program inspired by the military designed to build citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community. There are a lot of things we do in JROTC and can’t even fit that in here without just being annoying so ask someone else who’s in it.
@@zemm9003 it’s a cadet program. Countries like India, UK, Russia also have them. To train kids useful skills they usually teach actual soldiers, which doubly serves as a recruiting tool.
Here is what Dr Victor Blane would say to Keith: Alright, soldier wannabe, listen up! You're not in boot camp, you're in high school. Your JROTC badge won't get you a salute in the real world, but it might get you laughed at if you keep acting like a caricature of Rambo. If you think your drill sergeant routine intimidates anyone, spoiler alert: it doesn't. All you're doing is making a fool of yourself. Newsflash: Nobody's mistaking you for a hero, and your attempt at military dictatorship is as effective as a water pistol in a firefight. So, drop the act before someone gives you a dishonorable discharge from reality.
As someone who did JROTC when I went to High School, I find all this accurate. Facs tho, I literally only did it to get E-3 when I enlisted 😂 literally only did it to get rank.
same, I joined my sophmore year cause my mom recommended it and I started to like it (mainly cause I met someone who also played Genshin) but now Im a junior and officer already
With two years in the program, if you dont already know: it aint that deep. Next time i see a uniform stickler at a wing conference yapping about the two centimeters of my hair touching my ears ima lose it
@@GunpowderBarrelGames A friend who was a Spaatz cadet went into ROTC and now the Air Force. He met a guy there who thought he knew everything because he was also a Spaatz cadet, he ended up getting everyone to hate him and ended up leaving. Several other cadets I met would own and wear plate carriers with body armor, eat MREs just because, absorb themselves in military lingo, training methods, etc. Many times that would land them in trouble if they'd apply it to CAP because real military training and discipline is usually a safety hazard or hazing when it comes to kids. This was California wing btw, but I left a couple years ago.
Pell City High School JROTC is better, we are ranked 13th in the nation for our D&C, and idk why but for some reason I hate civil air patrol, I’m the Co-Commander of that Drill Team btw 🤓
Although the content of this channel's skits are mediocre at best, the snapshots into the narration are gut wrenchingly hilarious. Every time. (idk if wrenchingly is a word, but it is now)
i wish my private school had JROTC. I'm trying to get into west point and i agree some people take it too far but if I was in JROTC that would make it easier.
Im in AFJROTC. It's essentially a high school version of college rotc. It is supposed to get high schoolers interested in military. It is much more laid back than ROTC
As a kid in JROTC there's a kid in there who criticizes other kids for making little mistakes but then he goes over to other kids and snatches their stuff and makes a fool out of himself, it's okay 😄 At least he thinks so lol
I find this channel so interesting. It's a humor I very infrequently get exposed to. Reminds me a bit of 'Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace'. One can feel hints of ideological bias even though there is no overt political agenda. Would love to hear some insights as to why I feel this way about this channel's content.
He is not in the military, but he is supporting the military for helping and showing the respect of it, but no one should not respect him as a real honest again military personnel that is totally inappropriate

Yeah Luke really should talk to someone
Nah I think Keith severely lacks any kind of trauma hence why he should see Dr Blane because he is in dire need of traumatism
