I watched the final part of this video again today to see scholars point of view on Touheed. I may like to comment both from scholarly and Sufis point of view. Scholars generally explain thru ilmul-kalam/Ilmul-bayan. Surah Ikhlas have five Isms Allah, Ahad, Samad, no single word to describe the verse "He did not beget anyone nor He was beget-ted by anyone", English word eternal better describes this verse and finally the Ism Wahid (all these in the respective order). These concepts of Touheed (at or before Prophet Muhammad's time) were narrated in Surah Ikhlas to negate anti-touheed practices of Prophet Muhammad and time prior to him. These were well explained by our Nabi who purified us from all previous forms of shirk. Original manuscript of Quran is preserved and gives us a tool to keep away from differences. If there is some difference in translation or understanding of meanings we read original manuscript as it does need translation and reflects the same divine meanings as Prophet Muhammad had. Quran is the final scripture and many narrations may be manifested in the ages to come thru disciplines of knowledge not available today. A good example is that of scientific knowledge that was not available at Prophet's time. Now we may explain many unsolved issues thru experimental science.

However, it needs to be said that their lives were full of spiritual experiences (sometimes exaggerated), their intentions were pure, and some of them went over the proverbial line. Ghamdi is an exceptional scholar. He talks about Quran and Hadeeths and rejects everything out of it. Sufi's for the last many centuries misguided millions of innocent Muslims by telling unbelievable kararmats of saints when there were no books and modern technology available to check such things. For example they say their saints have made the dead again to life.

Sufis change the meaning of ONENESS of GOD. They change the meaning of revelation and Prophethood. They have distorted every aspect of Islam. Yet they call themselves Muslims/Believers.
Ghamidi was very clear about his views that there is no reference is Quran, Sunat and Ahadees about Sufism. Ahmed Javed was confused and from his statements, he seems to be playing on both side. Sajada Nasheen Sahib was getting a really tough time to defend on Sufism and was short of words. History expert views was good that Sufism didn't do anything or have no solution when Muslims were in the tough and hard phase, because Sufism thought process and version are just isolated believes, and have no impact and implications on society.
Javaid wasn't confused at all, he's basically saying Tasawwuf is a science in Islam, Abu Hanifa and his teachers were too part of the Sufi Silsila. The founding Father of Wahabbi, Ibn Taymiya himself was from the Qadri Sufi silsila. He also said those Sufi's that go to extremes and make outlandish claims that are not in conjuction with Quran and Sunnah we will not have any part of it. People sometimes get confused because of his high command of Urdu.

Along with shariah legislation for Muslims day-to-day living Islam also address spiritual side of both human beings and jinnat as well. Sufis actually try to address and strengthen the missing part i.e., better understanding of our spiritual dimension. That I think is required for interaction with jinnats as a big number of this community are Muslims now and sufis interact in their happy and sad times as they have been converted to Islam by these fellows. For these interaction a specific spiritual strength is required to keep qulb functional. Meditation with a focus on qulb is,therefore, is the main exercise. Sufis synchronize asma-e-elahi in their mind to qulb movement and their breath sounds like reading the specific ism. Generally its not oral zikr. Thru that exercise they keep their qulb functional and can withstand the spiritual field in such specific interactions. Besides the gravitational pull that restricts our movement starts getting nullify and sufis start experiencing effortless walking that a common man can not have. I had a few interactions with such people.

i have listen his entire lecture on sufism. i tell you his words make full sense. our respected bujurgan-e-deen put their experience as deen. some statements are so much dangerous that it may lead to total disrespecting rasool. for example some sufism claim that they have been given by allah so much so that even nabi couldn't get it. hope you listen to his full lecture then comment foul language about such a great personality.

The concept of Sufism started after about more than two hundred years of our Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Any concept conceived as later cannot be true
Along with shariah legislation for Muslims day-to-day living Islam also address spiritual side of both human beings and jinnat as well. Sufis actually try to address and strengthen the missing part i.e., better understanding of our spiritual dimension. That I think is required for interaction with jinnats as a big number of this community are Muslims now and sufis interact in their happy and sad times as they have been converted to Islam by these fellows. For these interaction a specific spiritual strength is required to keep qulb functional. Meditation with a focus on qulb is,therefore, is the main exercise. Sufis synchronize asma-e-elahi in their mind to qulb movement and their breath sounds like reading the specific ism. Generally its not oral zikr. Thru that exercise they keep their qulb functional and can withstand the spiritual field in such specific interactions. Besides the gravitational pull that restricts our movement starts getting nullify and sufis start experiencing effortless walking that a common man can not have. I had a few interactions with such people.
I think excluding ghamidi sahab ,no body has read main stream books of tasawuf they just give opinions not supported by facts
Sufism is a parallel religion mixed up with philosophy nothing to do with islam. More in the magical world

I know one practical thing based on my own experience. Jo ghayab dunya ha uss ma do cheesay hain aik achai wala ghayab aur aik shaitani ghayab. Sirf Allah he kissi insaan ko jo iss sufism par chalay iss ki pehchan karwa sakta ha wagarna insaan behak jatay ha taqat milnay kay nashay ma. Jo sufia kay saath huwa ha.

i have listen his entire lecture on sufism. i tell you his words make full sense. our respected bujurgan-e-deen put their experience as deen. some statements are so much dangerous that it may lead to total disrespecting rasool. for example some sufism claim that they have been given by allah so much so that even nabi couldn't get it.
hope you listen to his full lecture then comment foul language about such a great personality.
